Does everyone enjoy making music?

I mean sometimes i read threads on here and people are ripping peoples songs, ability, sounds etc to bits or just talking negatively. Personally making music gives me so much joy that I cant help but feel positive. Come on guys cheer up!

Anyone ever think what would happen if we all joined forces?

Where there is love there will always be hate, so just suck it up

hence why i put up (ta worth a shout thread.)
and this remix has helped in making things more intreasting.
but i always believe that producthion is a one man show. and this leads to people being less open to ideas and the such like.

you will also see this happen in bands as they often dissagre on things and then split.

Nothing better than sitting down after a shit day and just wanting to pen the next big thing.

Then getting even more stressed because you cant get that reverse swoosh to sit correctly with the incoming synth!

production is chalk and cheese

but i love it!!

Music is everything. Emotion, energy, love, hate, inspiration. I enjoy music, always .

Music provides a sense of completeness, everything good that has happened to me in my entire life has been because of trance and production.

Production can be frustrating, but that just shows you care.

Ooh - that collaboration would be a data management nightmare.

Seriously, though, I guess I don't follow the threads over on the songs Promotion forum closely enough, because they generally seem to be pretty civil to me. Much better than many of the critiques I've seen over on the anjunabeats and trance.nu forums.

It's my main hobby, so yeah I really enjoy it.

Sometimes it can be frustrating and as a result I want to smash my computer up, but when something comes together that you did yourself........well, those moments make it worth while .

Talking

i love it! although it only makes me happy when its going well. Some days it just makes me frustrated! I think thats just caring about your art though, wanting it to be perfect, which is a good thing.

See what a positive thread anyone feeling chrismassy yet . I was just spreadin some cheer anyway i read a few threads that seemed a bit grumpy thought i'd liven things up.

Ugh...now we get all of the music-inspired similies and metaphors.

i think it's fun when you have an idea of what you want and the production process flows well.
otherwise i think it's kind of boring since you sometimes have SO many options all of which would fit and sound great in your current project.

and yes, sometimes it's frustrating trying to find the ONE option that sounds BEST out of all the ones that sounds good :P

It's the most frustrating experience

everytime i open up ableton live, i always end up getting pissed off

but for some reason, i keep doing it....it makes no sense, really

iv been at this two years now and still have not made anything im proud of, but i keep going.

SOMEDAY.....SOMEDAY ILL GET IT

I hate making music. It causes me pain. I like pain. I want to hurt you.
