Lets remember this wasn't some random thing. In Arabic culture, throwing shoes at someone is considered the biggest of insults.

HAHA bush!! this guy is a legend. see they reactions!!! he should be out on the front line. and the comeback "i can only report it was a size 10" comedy! feel sorry for bush, hes a good laugh and like, the most hated guy in the world.

hes has kept the US safe after the unprovoked attack on the towers.. give him some credit. and the terrorists arent gonna stop just cause bush is away. they are talkin shit against obama, who firstly is black and secondly has hussien as his middle name. they dont care whos in charge and have no objectives other than hate.

As for who pulled him down, could've been another journalist or someone who thought he might have a weapon (other than his shoes), maybe they have security guards sat amongst them when Bush has these press conferences?

I dunno, I think you might be readin a bit too much into nothing (or looking for something where there's nothing). I'm pretty sure the flash you see if just a camera flash reflecting on the wall,and the guy that pulls him back looks like a fellow journalist if you ask me.

Conspiracy theories usually centre around America doing something they shouldn't, in this case I fail to see the conspiracy (of the sinister kind, that is, not the conspiracy that this guy came up with the hurl his shoes at Bush!)

adding, literally, insult to injury he's facing up to 15 years in prison for what he did.

That sucks but he did carry out an attack on a president, which I'm glad he did. It really summed up what a large chunk of the rational world has been thinking "Bush, you ******, you deserve to be hit by a shoe or two."

A very good protest but I hope his jail time is a little less then 15 years. 1 or 2 would be more apropriate.
