I just got my second umx-9 because my first wouldnt work. this time I plugged my cd players into the line inputs and had the transformers set on the corresponding inputs. but I get nothing on my level meters and no sound in my headphones or through my amp does anyone have a clue what this might be ?????

I think I had some probs when I first got my UMX-5 but they were all just dumb wiring connection mistakes. Check your power, use the power switch on the back (you'd be surprised how many times I've forgotten to turn it on ). Try getting sound out of the headphones first before hooking up your amp and speakers, so make sure you have your cue assigned to the proper channel you're playing on. If those tips don't work, maybe it is something you have to change on your cd players (?)
