Exclamation The worst movie ever

Delgo came out on Friday, grossed only $511,920 and opened in 2160 theaters. This means an average of only 2 people per showing. This is a FAIL record.

i think you'll find this is the fail record.

The movie 'Zyzzyx Road' opened at the box office on February 25 this year made history recently...but not in a good way. The movie - which cost $US2 million ($2.5 million) to make and starring Leo Grillo, Tom Sizemore and Katherine Heigl - has become the lowest-grossing American cinema release ever, with total box-office earnings of US$30.

This looks some somebody's Senior project, so it probably only cost like $200 to make, assuming the animator worked for Cheetos and Dr. Pepper.

That's $511,720 of profit, buddy.

Never even heard of it! No wonder it did badly!

Grossed $30 with budget of $2m!

Zyzzyx Road opened in only one theater. Delgo opened in over 2000. I still win at finding fail.

Zyzzyx Road. Hehe. I've been there.

It was released into eight theatres in Texas, the home state for stars Simpson and Wilson, on December 22, 2007 before a DVD release date on January 22, 2008.[2] Blonde Ambition averaged $48 per screen on December 22, 2007 for a total box office of $384. This meant, based on an $8 ticket price, that only 6 people paid to see the movie at each of those eight theatres and only 48 people went to see the movie.

Simpson and Wilson? must be some no names picked out of a homeless shelter, right?

This:

...is the worst movie I have ever seen.

This post was somewhat relevant to the content of this thread.

I fucking hate Tilda Swinton.

Posted by RJT on Dec-16-2008 15:02:

I just waited for anything intelligible to happen in that movie, and it just seemed like it was a handful of people hanging out on a fucking barge for two hours.

Honestly, a barge? Are you kidding me? Easily the worlds most boring and pedestrian sea craft.

I'm pretty sure she was in The Beach and Constantine, no? I thought she was excellent in both.

I've not seen Young Adam though... doesn't sound that terrible. I'd rather people in movies sit around and do nothing more often than I'd prefer them running around doing shit. Did you see The Ruins? Fuck me with a drill, that movie was stupid.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Dec-16-2008 15:08:

I don't care about her performances. She's ugly. Stupid bitch.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-16-2008 15:10:

She's not ugly one bit! She's unique-looking and pulls off short hair quite well; most likely because she has the accent as well and, as we all know, you can only pull off hair that short if you in some way or another resemble Annie Lennox.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Dec-16-2008 15:12:

Uh no. She looks like a lizard and has rat teeth. How could you even compare her to Annie Lennox??

I encourage you to watch it and get back to me.

To put it into perspective, I'd rather watch "Armageddon" and "Batman & Robin" back to back than have to try and make sense of "Young Adam" again.

"Armageddon" and "Batman & Robin" are the only two movies I have ever walked out on in theaters.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-16-2008 15:15:

But I love lizards and like rat teeth... look, I didn't say she was perfect or anything.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Dec-16-2008 15:15:

LoL, you went to the theatre to see Armageddon and Batman & Robin???

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Dec-16-2008 15:17:

I sat through both of those films in the theatre and have since seen each one more than 3 times.

Is it any wonder I am so bitter to everyone here?
