Trance Energy 2009 Lineup Announced

Didn't see this posted in this section yet, but since I know a lot of you guys are interested and perhaps going, here you go!

Ps. Special congrats to tyDi for making mainstage, whoop!

On Monday, December 15th, ID&T announced the line up for the sixteenth edition of their world famous Trance Energy event!

After the fabulous happening in February 2008, where thirty thousand visitors jammed into the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht (NL) witnessed an unforgettable night, the worlds largest and leading trance event is returning to Utrecht on Saturday 7 March 2009. The sixteenth edition of Trance Energy will play host to forty recording artists, flown in from all over the globe, accompanied by 30,000 trance-lovers from the four corners of the earth.

This is the full line up for Trance Energy 2009:

Main Stage

Paul van Dyk
John O'Callaghan
Marcel Woods

MC Mighty Mike

Future Stage

Traditionally the Trance Energy anthem is produced by one of the artists who will also perform on the evening itself. This year, the pounding hit 'L.E.D. There Be Light' by Rank1 was chosen as official Trance Energy anthem. Rank1 will be channeling Trance Energy over the next few months toward a musical zenith. Remember his name!

Tickets for Trance Energy are for sale since Saturday 29 November. Tickets are 42.50 and are available through www.Ticketonline.nl , telephone 0900-3006000 (45ct.p/m) and at all Free Record Shop stores.

Note: last year Trance Energy sold out far in advance of the event date.

PREPARE TO DANCE!

Australia's very young voted #1 DJ. Tunes out on Armada and AVA Recordings

The new star from the sunny 'Gold Coast' of Australia is DJ TyDi. Starting his professional career at the tender age of 16, DJ Tydi has been climbing the ladder of success as if there is no such thing as gravity. Tyson Illingworth is a star in his own country and won the number 1 spot in the Australian Sony ITM DJ Poll. He was also one of the main attractions at the Aussie editions of Sensation and Global Gathering. Actually, after hearing his tunes, Armin van Buuren waisted no time and signed this boy wonder to his Armada Music company. TyDi has already been performing in several European and Asian hot spots, but Trance Energy will be his biggest and most important performance outside of Australia to date. It will also be the kick-start of a global tour to support his soon to be released debut artist album. So brace yourself during Trance Energy, this boy wonder has got something to prove!

Still a great lineup. I would like to hear John O'Callaghan, Aly & Fila, and Simon Patterson sets. Can't wait!

thats a great lineup for any other party, but is pretty wack in terms of trance energy. I was thinking of going, since I have my air miles, but I think I will wait til nect year and hope for something better.

Wooooo that is amazing!!!1

From my experience, I got the best rate with Redtag.ca. I flew KLM direct from Toronto to Amsterdam for $800 taxes in but I also booked two months in advance.
If you go through expedia, it is definitely cheaper but the airlines usually have 2 or 3 stops all in the US and it's a bitch tbh!
I just looked at some prices it comes to about $1100 cdn for flight including taxes etc with KLM but I am sure a cheaper flight can be found!!!

Line up is not bad but headliners kinda disappointing.

If Yves Deruyter, Scot Project and Bas & Ram banging it out hard trance style, it'd be nice

if i were going i'd only leave the future stage to go see marcel and then head straight back there......those young guns belt it out better than the old school dj's

lol i am relaxed. I think that this is a fantastic lineup for any other party, but weak in terms of trance energy. I was thinking of going but now I think I may save my money for DV.

regardless, the lineup is still good enough to throw a sick party so everyone have fun!!!! I just dont like the lineup enough and specifically would rather travel far away when ferry is **INCLUDED**!!!
