Eagle Eye , Transporter 3 , Grand Torino , [Review]

Anbody seen anything good in the last couple of weeks ? here is a few films I watched over the last 2 weeks and my thoughts.

Eagle Eye - 7/10
---------------------
Action packed film with lots of car chases , Imagine Jason Bourne and the fugitive and maybe Enemy of the State.

Transporter 3 - 6/10
----------------------
Nothing different from 1 & 2 , typical Statham doesnt get a scratch on him when he is fighting 10 people with bars and chains. Also many car stunts that would be impossible.

P.S I really like the Chick with red hair.

Grand Torino - 9/10
----------------------
For a Clint Eastwood film I thought it was going to be Dirty Harry with his gun and a few stand off's but I was suprised how powerful this film was and how well it was directed. Very good ending which leaves a smile on your face.

What have you seen thats worth a mention ?

There Will Be Blood gets a 5/10.
I don't get the big deal. Is the movie highly touted for no reason other than the effort of the single man, Paul Anderson? Yes, it's a good movie and it's amazing 1 person could go through directing his written vision so well, but the movie itself isn't very emotional, isn't very inspiring, the dialogue is nothing to remember and I don't recall anything (other than capturing the dirt and grit of the west) necessary of putting the story on film.

I really did like the shot of Day-Lewis rushing away from the oil fire to his son.

Max Payne - 7/10

Another recent film which could of been better, if you have played the games you will know that every couple of seconds you are killing people , also doing lots of shoot-outs in bullet time etc , I think the film only had one big action seen when the SWAT team show up and thats about it.

I was hoping for Walberg to have a bigger body count but in general the script was ok.

I rly thought that Eagle Eye sucked! The acting was terrible overall and th plot has been used so many times ...

War Inc. was a fun, yet such a retarded movie though

Step Brothers get 8/10 funny movie.

Synecdoche, New York
8/10

After watching this movie, it made me go "hmm", then a little bit of "heh". After that, some wtf. A typical Charlie Kaufman film that really makes the viewer think outside of the box.

Big credit is due to Michelle Williams in this movie. She did an excellent job, and really outgrew herself out of her "Dawson's Creek" days.

I'm with you... that movie was for 12 year olds. It turned into a virtual science fiction movie towards the end. Can someone please stab Shia LaBouff please?

I want to see that one so badly, but I think it's not even announced for a German cinema yet.

i cheered. i weeped. i was pretty much shocked about Jean Claude Van Damme's skills after the ending of this movie. I like the movie.
