What Canadian News do you Watch?

Just wondering news everyone watches

personally I like City the best. Just seems a lot more lively and 'real' opposed to the typical old guy format of the other 3.

CBC, channel 26 (on Rogers TV). I find the network to be the most professional.

When I lived in Kitchener it was CTV because I wanted to watch the local news afterwards, but now that I am in Toronto I find I only watch Global.

S'all about City News. My parents watched it so much that Gord Martineau feels like part of the family. I agree that it's nice they have a bit of a different approach than the other stations.

In the morning, I alternate between CBC Newsworld and Pulse24

I usually switch to one or the other when irrelevant stuff like traffic, weather, or when news that a piece that isn't really news comes on (like an 'accident', fire, etc.)

Mansbridge and Strombo are a-o-k. And they have that one blonde woman with glasses who's got that whole "sexy librarian" look down pat. I'd hit it.

Other than that it's a propaganda machine for the left. Which I'm ok with, except WE pay for it, and they claim to be fair and unbiased. Not very professional in my view.

Nothing like election night when they were asking viewers to tell them what issue they were voting on, and whoever was screening the calls would only pass "arts funding" complaints through their filters. What a joke.

I enjoy putting on CP24 to pass the time when I'm bored. I love how they air 20-30y/o broadcasts on 'Rewind' in the wee hours.

Spot on.

CBC is my favorite, they also have interesting shows like 5th estate or passionate eye.

I can see citytv's appeal though, it's more like a show than news I think. That dramatic music and they always seem to open with "shocking news".

CTV feels like its being shot in a retirement home, so much grey.

Those are the big three, all the others are there to make up the numbers.
