Exclamation fl studio help!!!!

Hey guys,
I need help with something probably very basic in FL studio-_-
So im doing my drum roll and im filling up all 8 notes so it will be a very fast roll. However, its not fast enough. How do i add notes in between perhaps or make this roll faster?

Do u get what im saying? =/

If you're not using the piano roll already, click the channel you want to use for this with your mouse's right button and select the piano roll option from the top of the list that appears.

When in piano roll, you could zoom in a bit if needed (the button under the x button, which closes the piano roll window) and just play around and see what happens.

Also in piano roll you can select the notes you want to do this with, and press alt+u. In this window you can chop them so you can quickly make your already mighty roll twice as fast!

I think.

I'm not too sure on what you mean, but try changing the Main Snap to "none", that way you can change the note length to suit your needs...

"Chop", from the menu.

fill the notes in a line on the playlist , right click the discription button and select 'send to piano roll'

zoom in and locate the double ended arrow on the note block and half its size then click on another note of the same size and fit two of the blocks in one frame so it now doubles the speed of the roll , and so on 3 , 4 or however many you can fit in the one space

hope that helps
