Confused whens the last time...

When is the last time you sat on a hill and watched the sun rise?
I just did it a couple weeks ago, and it had been YEARS since I had done it like that. Just sittin there, thinkin about life... Ive partied through sunsets, but it isnt the same at all. Not a reflection like that ...anyways. Just seeing how many people out there have let their childhood wonder slip away like I almost did

the last couple of weeks i've pulled a few all nighters here and there and at around 5 when i saw the darkness start to fade i went outside and sat on the front porch with my cd player and listened to my trance cd and watched the sun rise... it was a bit cloudy those days too and the clouds looked amazing....it's a sweet feeling.... i might do it today again.. but i really need some sleep...

Right on bro's, these are the times you really get to introspect about life and stuff. You think about your past, remembering both the good times and the bad times; you think about the present, feeling the real beauty of nature; and you think about the future, about where you're going and what you need to do in life to reach your goals and whatnot.

We're all in this life together, you know. We live through a lot of the same fuckin nonsense in this world and at the same time we experience a lot of its same beauties too. So in many ways we're alike, even though we may tend to think we're each in our own peculiar little worlds. It's the brotherhood of man, you know.

Peace out

A serious post by Palivar...it seems that way, but is it actually?

ive never seen sunrise or sunset, my view is obscured
best ive got is when the sun is goin down sometimes the clouds are pink which is real nice

but that would be nice i think, especially with some appropriate trance

If I am up at dawn, I am still dancing in the darkness of a club. Maybe if we had some outdoor parties, I could enjoy a sunrise to the sweet sounds of Trance.

That was nice palivar, and the topic's great too!
Sunrises and sunsets are both great,amazing,romantic..
have you ever heard that when the sun sets a dream dies? it's nostalgic, but i fancy thinking it works the other way round, with the sunrise!
Oh well, back to Tiesto in search of sunrise mix...!!

the last time I saw sunset and sunrise was abotu 45 minutes apart. I was in norhtern alberta, very close to where its 24 hour days(there is no night) while the sun did disappear, it was still light out. it was really messed having sun for the 3 days I was up there.

I just think that people get all messed about what is important in life. i have skipped school to do that kind of stuff, and the memory of a sunset on a hill with a girl will always be with me, school is fucking nothing compared to that. What is the point of an education if you cant enjoy the things that make life worth living? We have lost our wonder, the feeling of awe that makes us wonder "How is this possible?". People just say that its a nuclear explosion couple million miles away that isnt going down, it is our earth rotating away from it giving an illusion....fuck science. Fuck all of it. It has killed a part of us, the part that makes us human. We are just little fucking robots going around fucking eachother over for money, when we have a universe at our doorstep inviting us to be a part of it.

that was good. what does make life worth living? why are people so preoccupied with the things that are not really important? why does everyone always expect you to do what you have to do, and now what you enjoy doing? why should doing homework be more important than doing something fun with friends?

some people say that you have to study, do homework so that you go to college and get a good job and have a nice, easy life afterwards... bullshit! it doesn't work that way. childhood and teen years should be something that you will remember for the rest of your life as something happy, peaceful and not stressful and panicking. life goes by too quickly and you cannot return lost seconds and change the past. never pass up the opportunity.

i admit, the last time i watched sunrise was more than 5 years ago! i would like to do it again in the near future. maybe somewhere on a beach.

Saw about 2 or 3 weeks ago.....it was some what hazy outside so when u look up at the sun all u see is the big ornageish redish circle......Was pretty cool......

The real question is:

Has anyone seen a Sunrise at Palamos?

Posted by Greedy on Jun-08-2002 19:18:

I watch the sun rise every damn morning. Im a electrical engineering major at virginia tech so Im always up doing work. Shoot me.

Posted by Narcotic Mind on Jun-08-2002 20:36:

i like watching sun sets over the sea...
sitting on the beach and just watching the summer drowing into the sea... what an amazing view

though it's been a while

Posted by elena on Jun-09-2002 01:37:

thing is...why does it take a sunrise or sunset to realize or question our existence?
why does it have to be that sort of inspiration
you need such thing to get yourself into a reflective deep thought mood

dont get me wrong it is beautiful to reminisce the good memories through them..and its usually a good thing to do but its kind of cliche
