Thumbs up humble djs

Very simple.. who would you say are the humble djs out there? Now let's keep this on an international level.
The two that promptly come to mind for me are:

Steve Porter

and the obvious answer....

Danny Howells.

I've met both of these young chaps and no doubt about it... super duper humble djs. Who else have you met, or even heard from a reliable source that they are humble?

John 00 Fleming, without question.

I had the pleasure of meeting him once. I mentioned that he was one of my heroes, and he said "I can't take that!". Very down to earth guy.

Demi.

Personally, I don't care about meeting DJs, but Demi was the one DJ I wanted to meet just because he has such a fun personality behind the decks. He is a very humble and hilarious guy. Having beers with him at The Zone's upstairs during that Eric Entrenna party after he played at Sonic was amazing.

Lee Burridge is another really nice guy.

+1 on Markus Schulz and Sander van Doorn...D.A.V.E. the Drummer was pretty wicked too when we talked to him for a short while after his set during Soulstice

there are some mentioned in this thread which are far from humble but i guess if they have the time to talk to u, u feel they are...

I totally agree with you. He is without a doubt the most humble and sincere DJ I have ever met. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to interview him.

lol, have you guys actually hung out with so many int'l DJs that you can decide who is humble and who isn't?

and Mr. ten never goes to sleep

Posted by DigDeep on Dec-29-2008 21:41:

Most international DJ's I've had the pleasure of opening for have been more humble than most local DJ's and promoters I know. LOL

Lee Burridge (it's almost sickening - in a good way of course)
DJ Vibe
Neil Quigley
Jody Wisternoff
Terry Lee Brown JR.
Ricky Ryan

porter is really fuking cool shit.

Posted by vendetta999 on Dec-29-2008 21:47:

Sean Tyas seemed very appreciative that we had gone to see him in NY this past August.

He was doing a back to back with Simon Patterson and he was coming over and just shooting the shit with us when he wasnt spinning. He was pretty thankful that we had made the trip from toronto to see him. Mind you...that could be because there was about only 80 people there that night. lol

But he was also really nice when we saw him in Montreal too.
