Ricardo Villalobos and the U.S.A.

On January 20, 2009, George Bush will no longer be the president of the United States. Why is that day so special? It means Ricardo Villalobos can now DJ in the U.S.A.

So ... who knows whats up? Who's got the inside scoop? When will we finally see Ricardo here in the states? And how amazing would that be if he showed up for WMC?

I would go out of my way to see him. For sure.

deff gonna be one of the more popular acts in 09 if he decides to come over to the states

Lol the U.S. is a big country. I'd see him in NYC, Miami or LA/SF but I doubt he'd show his face anywhere other than those cities.

Yeah like, no one has ever played that kind of music here before...

Yeah, hopefully he stops acting like an awful fagot

There's a fairly big desire for him up in this area, too. He'd have no problem packing a show.

Actually I think it works out fine. People like you aren't worthy of seeing him.

defitnely dont think that, just think that the fans are more spread out through out the country..so itd be hard to pack a club unless he was spinning at one of the bigger tourist places..

At least in my experience of clubbing in the US, fans are a small percentage of the people who pack clubs.

In any big city that already has a good techno & underground scene though, I think he'd have no problem ramming a spot.
