Pioneer CDJ 800 Problem HELP!

Hi Guys, got a problem with my CDJ 800, when i put it into "vinyl" mode it locks up, the track will play if you move the jog wheel, it works fine in "normal" mode, but i always use vinyl mode, any ideas?

maybe its the tempo. make sure its not set to 100%.

same thing happened with my friends 800s... did you buy used? we thought it was the sensor under the wheel or something

i bought it new must have been about 3-4 years ago but haven't used it alot, still prefere the feel of vinyl! A sensor under the jog wheel makes sense, its as if it thinks someones got their finger on it all the time.

Did ur friend get his repaired or just chucked it?

i think he just uses it on cdj mode... poor bastard

CDJs are crap. There is another board member who lost two of his and only has his third left.

It sounds like a laser/laser-motor problem for him.
