[intro] Obie from Jax Beach

Hi everyone. This is Obie and I just wanted to introduce myself and see if any of you are from DUUUUVAL, specifically Jax Beach.

My story: I used to lurk TA years ago and glad to see it's going strong. I was a DJ for many years. Dusting my records off and setting up new equipment for the first time in a long time. Also, I just made a new year's resolution to party more often this year. You see, I'm turning 35 in July -- hit the brakes on my crazy life a few years ago HOWEVER at this point I find myself overcome with nostalgia just listening to old trance or Area 38 on Sirius -- today I was like "fuck it, I'm not old enough to be full of nostalgia" so I resolved that in 2009 I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I'm still healthy and resilient. Most importantly, I'm not nearly as broke as I used to be, which should make the experience a lot more enjoyable.

Give me a shout if you know what I mean...

PLenty of good peeps here who enjoy all sorts of EDM. So don't take too many things to the heart or personal if they seem like they are being to direct. Everyone has there opinion & they will express it at many times. So again don't take it to the heart.

Simple things to remember.

-Keep the spamming to a minimun if at all & simply sit back, post away & have a blast on TA.

-Post any info in the Events thread if you come across info on parties & events.

-If u wanna kick back & post random stuff hit up the COT thread.

Other than that these are a great bunch of peeps who will def give a good laugh if u r having a rough day & def can talk up a storm.

Take a moment or a few days to get an idea of how people are. They may seem cruel when in reality they r just busting ur or each others chops.
