What software to use for...

I want to try my hand at making a bootleg. What software would be ideal for making 2 tracks EXACTLY the same pitch with the least hassle?

I would say Ableton, due to it's warping capability.

Or, Traktor would work pretty well if you just want to do it live and try to pull a one-off recording.

quick question on ableton. what is the difference between Ableton Live 7 & Ableton Suite? other than $150. just the instruments it come with?

Chalk up another vote for Ableton.

That Airbase tutorial is spot on, 99% of EDM tunes shouldn't take more than a minute to warp. Plus once you've done that, it's a piece of piss to chop and change the arrangement of the tune in the (very aptly named) Arrangement view.

acid and ableton are your best bets... ableton is pretty easy though, just take your time, read a tutorial and youll get it- almost all good audio software has a learning curve first time users will need to get over
