Milk

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1013753/

I saw this last night, easily the best performance Sean Penn has ever given, great movie.

My girlfriend and I have been trying to see this for a while now but for some reason we've always ended up doing something else or not having the time. It's part of our dinner plans tomorrow, so I'm really excited to be able to finally see it, given the sheer number of fantastic reviews.

I thought this was going to be a thread about

It's really, really well put together, and there is pretty much no weak link from the acting to the cinematography.

I've wanted to see this for awhile now, but I rarely get to the theater anymore. I'll have to make an extra effort.

I'm still waiting for the movie about the first Mexican team to enter the college basketball circuit. Produced by Disney, starring Denzel Washington.

I'm surprised Jake Benson hasn't searched "gay"/"homo"/"fag" in the tranceaddict search bar to find this thread. He will though, he will... He always finds the gay ones...

Sean Penn of course, but I really liked Emilie Hirsch's performance. After seeing this and Into The Wild I can say that he's a damn talented young actor

Good to hear. I was abit afraid it was hyped for beeing political correct. On the other hand it's a Gus Van Sant movie.

A phone conversation between me and Vivid Boy two weeks ago:

Eric: Hey, know any good movies I could go watch tonight?

Me: Umm, tons of movies out right now, Frost/Nixon, The Wrestler, New Bond movie, Role Models, Milk...

Eric: Milk?! Sounds delicious...whats it about?

Me: It's about a gay politician.

Eric: Thats fuckin sour, I take that back.
