KOSHO of RED BIO

Kosho is best known as the co-founder of nexxez and club RED. RED became the longest Friday night after-hours in Los Angeles and recently celebrated its 7th anniversary at Circus Disco in Hollywood in July of 2008. City Beat just to name a few.
Kosho has shared the decks with various DJs on DJ Mags top 100 DJs, including but not limited to: Paul Van Dyk, Christopher Lawrence, Judge Jules, Mauro Picotto, Yoji Biomehanika, Bad Boy Bill, Donald Glaude and DJ Dan. BRIAN SCOTT BIO
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Brian Scott was always surrounded by amazing music of all genres. But it wasnt until he was a freshman in college that he truly appreciated electronic dance music. His already extensive music collection began to grow as he added CDs and MP3s from artists like The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, and The Prodigy. Over the next few years, Brian found himself frequenting many of the major EDM clubs in Hollywood and eventually became close friends with many DJs, music producers, and event promoters. He didnt know it at the time, but his lifestyle would eventually lead him to become the DJ he is today. In early 2004, the final piece of the puzzle fell into place as Brian relocated to the beach community of Santa Monica. His new roommate was also an EDM junkie and possessed a pair of Technics 1200MK2 turntables and a worn-down Gemini mixer. After purchasing a few house records and teaching himself how to utilize the mixer and tables, Brian had found the tools to express himself in a way he never imagined.
In the few short years of Brians DJ career, he has already had the opportunity to play in some of the most prestigious venues in Hollywood including Giant @ Vanguard, Spundae @ Circus, and Avalon. Brian's enjoyment of varying genres within electronic music has led to a diverse DJ style ranging from minimal and techno to tech-house, electro and more. His track selection and unique ability to blend several different genres have been proven to keep the dance floor moving. Industry players have begun to take notice as Brian has shared billing with the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Deep Dish, Armin Van Buuren, Christopher Lawrence, Roger Sanchez, and many others. He has held down residencies at many of Hollywoods most popular EDM clubs. In March, 2007, he was first runner-up in LA Weeklys annual DJ Spin-Off Contest.
Brian continues to spin regularly in the Los Angeles and Hollywood areas while he hones his production skills. Always the self-starter, he is educating himself in computer-based music production while incorporating his own edits and remixes into his DJ sets. He is currently spending time in the studio producing his first few tracks along with production partner Blake Eggleston. Expect their EP to be released in March 2009.
Brian Scott is also the founder and managing partner of 4:SCORE Entertainment, which specializes in event production and artist management within the electronic dance music scene. His combination of business savvy and floor-shaking DJ talent should prove to be highly successful in the future. If he continues on the same path, the future is very close at hand.
Good thing I updated my bio just enough to include the estimated release date for my EP

DJ Abdul has also thrown a number of partys in the San Francisco Bay area and in Los Angeles, and can be heard streaming live on different internet shows. ERIC KUPPER Bio (2X Grammy Winner)
Eric Kupper got his start over two decades ago working as a keyboardist, guitarist, and songwriter for such producer/remixers as David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Arthur Baker, Mark Kamins, Justin Strauss, Peter Rauhofer, and Richie Jones to name a few. Since 1986 he has played on, remixed, and/or produced over 1700 records for artists spanning all contemporary musical genres. He is one of the few artists in dance music today that is a master multi-instrumentalist. A true musician. Over the years, thousands and thousands of hours in the studio has polished Eric Kupper into one of the most sought after producers/remixers/musicians in the world.
The remix work is astounding. Major label artists that have taken the Kupper treatment include Garbage, Usher, Alicia Keyes, BT, Marianne Faithful, Goldfrapp, Cher, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Sheryl Crow, Lenny Kravitz, Kylie Minogue, Korn, Moloko, Smash Mouth, New Order, Yoko Ono, Dido, Brandy, Curtis Mayfield, Brand New Heavies, Robert Palmer, Afrika Bambaata & Soulsonic Force, Kate Bush, 808 State, Jessica Simpson, Anastacia, Donna Summer, and PM Dawn. He has worked on literally dozens of Billboard number 1 dance records and has mixed two records that have received the "Dance Record of the Year" Grammy award.
Much of Kupper's massive discography is derived from his work as a studio musician and a remixer. His work as a multi-instrumentalist and arranger has helped sell over 50 million records for artists such as Anastacia, Marc Anthony, Celine Dion, Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Lopez. In the role of "additional production and keyboards" Eric has worked with Madonna, Celine Dion, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, LCD Soundsystem, Coldplay, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Anastacia, Seal, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Toni Braxton, Kelis, Jamariquoi, Depeche Mode, Eric Clapton, Everything But The Girl, Bjrk, and David Bowie, among many others.
Eric also creates a great deal of music outside of the dance realm, including unashamed pop, heavy rock, punk, folk, indie rock, or whatever floats his musical boat. Artists include John Wesley Harding, Julee Cruise, Roisin Murphy, Coolbone, Drill, PM Dawn, The Butterflies of Love, Saint Etienne, Bonnie Bailey, Robina, Peyton, Gaz Brookfield, McQueen, Lovebites, Ofra Haza, Jaymes Bullet, Laura Pausini, and Gloria Estefan.
Some years back Eric was bitten (hard!) by the DJ bug and became a resident at London's Pacha with Hed Kandi for four years, as well as DJing all over the globe as an independent DJ or as a Hed Kandi resident. These days you can find Eric performing all over Europe, Asia, South America, as well as the U.S., sometimes with keyboards in the DJ booth for extra flavor. Eric is also a resident DJ with Fierce Angels, the recent venture created by Mark Doyle, the former creator of Hed Kandi. He is currently traveling all around the world rocking crowds from New York to Moscow to Manila...
Cementing his underground house roots, Eric has just completed his first artist album in ten years, under his critically acclaimed "K-Scope" moniker. Entitled "Electrikiss," it will be released by Nitegrooves/King Street and Grand Gallery in Japan. The first two EPs released in early 2008 were championed by DJ's all over the world including Louie Vega, Andy Caldwell, Frankie Knuckles, Kaskade, among many others. A sexy mixture of cutting edge electronics infused with undeniable soul, the new K-Scope album will be released in early 2009, as well as 2 new EP's on vinyl.
Eric's collaborations with the likes of Francois K., Frankie Knuckles, David Morales and Peter Rauhofer (among many others) are nothing short of legendary. The coming months will bring on new fresh collaborations. Stay tuned...
