Alternative to Serato Scratch live?

I cant justify spending $500 on serato live. I just wanna use my numark cd's to use with my laptop + its so much easier to use tracks from a computer than constantly burning cd's.

What is a cheaper alternative to it?

I couldnt find any decent deals anywhere for it.

All i need is the control box + cd's+software

Thanks in advance

Not to be an ass, but the top half of this forum has threads on other DVS's like Torq, Traktor and the others.

I'll be an ass, use the search function, look at the top half of this thread, etc.

now I'll be nice. I use torq, love it, only cost me 230 for the conectiv soundcard, and came with both time code records, and time code cd's.

Serato second hand is what i'd do..

Saved a bucket load when i bought it. Was even able to sell it on for the same price i paid for it (300 euro)

sell everything and just invest in ableton, that way its just a soundcard and computer

I used torq when i had my cdj's ..with EFX support and VST's etc you really can't go wrong. Stable and half the cost of serato.

I got mine for 250 when it first came out, so yeah, don't pay more than that.

You'll be extremely happy if you cough up the extra cash and get Traktor Scratch. The Audio8's sound quality is unmatched.
