Yeah, when I think of "at the top" I immediately think of Danny Rampling.

is there a section on the proper method of using the jesus pose?

preferably a step by step picture guide

my jesus pose has been lacking as of late...doesnt have enough "flare" to it.

Same here. I have every set he's ever played on my computer. He's like David Guetta x100,000,000.

Well cant hurt to read a book on the craft. After all I read Recess's book and that was a good read.

Gotta give it a chance. Now if its a book of him gloating with washed up suggestions of how to make it in the busniess.. then thats another story

For someone who takes music so seriously (I mean this in a good way), I suggest you take a look at who Danny Rampling is, because that is a glaring oversight on your part.

What makes you think I take music SO seriously?

I just enjoy music a lot, but I've never found a necessity to know who did what 20 years ago and who is responsible for founding the UK's rave/club scene to be able to enjoy it.

he sucks, but probably has a good idea on how to achieve success. He is certainly not as shit as pete tong, and probably on a similar level when it comes to promoting dance music in the UK.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Rampling

seems like he's not so bad. pioneering and all that

Is Pete Tong a shit DJ (in technical terms)? Never actually heard any sets of his.

yes, it's full of promos (some wicked, some not so much) but it's shit technical skill wise

Posted by PivotTechno on Jan-14-2009 22:56:

Pete Tong is a radio DJ, not a club DJ, though he has been known to play in clubs.

Pioneer or no, Danny Rampling hasn't been relevant for over a decade.

Haha. I love the Danny Rampling reference in Human Traffic.

i find you learn a lot about music if you do that

the book should be one sentence long and could be co-authored by many.

"20 years ago I was in the right place at the right time."

Posted by arnani on Jan-18-2009 22:51:
