Fractured - Electric Sunrise

Hey all,

On holiday in Spain at the moment, been listening to a lot of breaks and trance and was inspired to write a tune even though im meant to be relaxing!

Its a trancey edged electro breaks track(if you have to label it lol)

Pretty nice track you have here - I always love it when people use the distortion/bitcrush effects, they're my favourites.
The melody is a bit ordinary/simplistic but it works well enough.

I did feel the percs were a bit too simplistic for a tune like this - I'd add some more layers and variations, now it felt like they were just loops. The first break was also quite long and then it built up to... nothing - it was a bit anticlimatic.

I also hear the pumping sidechain effect when the beat plays with the melody which I do not like at all, but I guess that's just personal preference.

Still, it's rare to hear these trancey breaks thingies nowadays, props for that.

Had a quick listen to most of your tracks and there's no duffers in any of them tbh.

Impressive stuff. Very nicely programmed drums without exception.

i havent been on these forums for too long, but so far yoru stuff is the best ive heard. youve got the rythm and the musicality IN ADDITION to production skills. mostly what i hear on these forus is good production skills, but litle musical value. this is some good stuff. what do you use to make it? do you have any recommended tutorials for a begginer? Any advice youre willing to give im happily looking for.

You are very versatile for what I could hear in all your productions in your soundclick account, I also like the variety in all your tracks. Mate you have a good future.
