Burial, The Distance, Loess...
EDM music hasn't moved me in a long time, so I've been listening to stuff like this a lot lately. I don't even know what this genre is called. IDM? Dub-step? Does anyone else on here listen to this stuff?
The Distance - Delight:
I can't find sample videos of Loess' stuff, but if you listen to this type of music, you'll probably know who I'm talking about. I have a Loess song on my Myspace page right now:

The only way I can describe this type of music... they are sounds that I have always imagined and craved.
ummmm... is this trance?
Well, it definetely has melodic elements, but it's NOT trance!
I'd classify it as "Electronica," which is decidedly different from EDM.
dubstep.
I like Burial a lot, and this kind of stuff in general.
Have you heard of Lusine? He has some great stuff in this vein.
music for darkened souls. I like it.

i'm gonna echo exergo and say i hear dub elements in 2 of the artists, but if you went to dubstep party, you'd be hearing something else entirely. i think ambient/downtempo electronica is what you're after julia...
mellow electronica.
good choices, Beautiful.
