A new set I recorded today consisting of new tech-house tracks that have caught my attention. Came out really good in my opinion, but obviously I would like for you guys to have a listen and tell me what you think. For anybody who hasn't checked out any of the sets I uploaded in the past, this would be great place to start

Updated with a Sendpace link in case anybody has issues with Megaupload.

Looks decent Lots of familiar tracks in there, so I'm wondering how you put 'em all together.

Bumpski, I'll give this a shot when I get some time.

Posted by Ek0nomik on Jan-18-2009 03:37:

snatched.

I just started it, I'll give you feedback late tonight or sometime tomorrow.

The first few seconds made me think I was falling into an abyss, but then the funkiness kicked in.

I know the mixing was pretty textbook but I'd still love to hear what you thought

Posted by woscar on Jan-19-2009 20:41:

Will grab when I get home.

I know I didn't give you the feedback when I said I would. I just didn't get around to listening to any music in the last day.

I thought the mixing was great.

I really liked Minimofongo. A really simple tune, but damn funky. I thought you used Chiho (Synthapella) really well. I wanted to track down that tune so I went to beatport only to find it as a boring as fuck dj tool. Very nicely used. The last tune that stuck out to me was the Hemmann remix of Everything So Clear.

thanks for the listen adam.

No, thank you kind sir! I greatly appreciate your comments, you know it's never the same when you listen to your own mix and when other people do. They will always listen to it from a different perspective than you do and it's really great to hear that somebody else found it to be good. So thanks again dude.

Will listen right now, get back to you tomorrow

Just finished listening to your set. Really enjoyed it, some really groovy stuff at some points. Very nice track selection and flow, and it never got boring which tends to happen to me with a lot of tech house and techno DJs that are unable to balance the techy stuff and the more housey stuff. Mixing was on point as far as I could tell.

I will definitely have to grab that Shonky track, it's pretty sick.

Awesome, really glad you liked is Oscar.

Coco Feel and Love Shonk is probably my favorite track in the mix, so lush! Every time I listen to the mix and this track kicks in, I feel as if I'm thrown into a rain forest or something.

Anyway, I'm actually looking forward to you posting your next mix. Unfortunately I didn't get to listen to your previous ones, but I'm curious what your sets are like.

Posted by Adam420 on Jan-21-2009 21:41:

By the way Oscar, the link to your set archive in your signature directs me to a totally unrelated thread.

Posted by woscar on Jan-21-2009 22:02:

Dammit!!! It seems like I accidentally deleted the last number on the link, I already fixed my sig accordingly

Thanks for the heads up, and if you listen to any of my sets I hope you like them.
