NAMM Requests

alright... camera is charged and memory card cleared i'll be leaving early tomm morning for the event, however, with over 2,000 booths this year there is no way i'm going to take pics of everything.

I will be doing these for myself:

Access
Ableton
Clavia
Moog
Dave Smith & Lindrum
Melo-fing-dyne
Rode
Arturia(been dying to check out the origin)
Korg
Universal Audio
Focusrite
FXpansion
Cakewalk

any other requests, any other manufacturers putting out stuff you want to see?

The quicker you can update us with the Ableton and Access news the better!

As long as you shakedown Smith and Linn about the new drum machine I'll be happy.

You got mine covered (Access). Actually, if for some reason you do NOT see any new hardware from Access (which I doubt), go ahead and ask why the major retailers are listing the Polar, Desktop and 61-key TI's as "discontinued". It'll be interesting to see if you get a satisfactory response.

Nice list

Any chance you could punch a Novation rep in the face while screaming that they should make a Nova mkII?

Oh and give Echo a pat on the back for their excellent Audiofire range?

Waldorf has already announced their NAMM lineup. A blofeld keyboard and a new OS for the desktop and keyboard models.

Personally, I am really just interested in what/if Ableton have something coming yet. They announced those partnerships with Cycling 74 and the Serato people, what is gonna happen with these things and will it happen this year?

that's old news. if you look around you'll find already some leaked information about the NI drum sequencer "maschine". the same with cubase 5.

Doesn't matter. They need people to harass them about it because daddy wants another drum machine.

somehow the novation plugins look very similiar to the focusrite. both just released yesterday. so they made them together and splitted the plugins to 2 companies?

That's not too surprising since Focusrite now owns Novation. I hope they put more effort into the sound of these plugs than they did into the GUIs - looks like they were done by students from an Intro to Photoshop evening course.
