What refills do you guys use the most?
You know of any good communities from which u can download (trance) reason files, refills etc?
We bought some refills from http://www.sonicflavours.com/ and http://www.dancemidisamples.com/
Free refills i'm using:
Trance construction kit
Wazari drums
ReVolution
NuHouse
...
Further I get some rns-tracks from reasonstation.net
How about u guys?
Psyfactor volume 1.
Would highly recomend too, it's got some very fat kicks/bass in it, haven't really discovered everything in it yet.
Definitely the point zero productions refill is my loyal companion.
So much weird and interesting sounds in that pack.
i dont use refills, its terrible for backup and collabs

Well, that's true... I don't like use refills to use built in samples... the kind of refills I use contains a lot of patches. Something that you won't regret at the time of some collab, and you're happy because you don't need to carry with a lot of annoying files.
I bought reasonbanks analogue monsters 3 and analog nights.. Very good refills. Nucleus soundbanks might be worth a try, I tried some free sounds and they're pretty good, but they are pretty general
I think sonicflavours might be worth the money too. They have some great demos.
BTW you can use reason unpacker for reason 3.0 to unpack reason 4.0 refills.
If you paid money for your refill I don't see any reason why you shoould not use the reason unpacker if you want to backup and/or colab your reason tracks.
I don't use electronic samples really, because to me I feel as if I'm copying someone else, so I avoid it if I can. Although I would be putting my own effects, the base of it isn't mine, just a personal thing I guess. Sometimes I might look through some combinator patches to get an idea though.
I do use real instrument refills though, including piano, bass guitar, drums and strings. I have others, but I use these four the most.

I produce mostly uplifting trance and my favorite refills are all from Sonic Flavours; Digital Trance Art Station, massive Progressive, and even ReQuencer 2 has some good sounds in it. I also use X Synth Library refill a fair bit, it's ok.
I most WARN against getting Sonic Reality's Ultra Electronic Refill. It's the WORST!! piece of crap i have ever bought, not one good sound in the whole refill
glsmaster, How is the Point Zero Productions Refill, is it version 4?. What type of music is it good for? I was thinking of getting it but i've bought too many shitty refills and i'm kind of jadded now.
Hey DeZmA what style of music is analogue monsters 3 and analog nights geared towards?
So i recommend Sonic Flavours, best refills i have found yet, and i've had a LOT !!
i've been using reason for about 3-4 years now, and no refills for me so far

unfinished projects all over the place is pretty depressing. :/

Refills for Subtractor
How about refills that are for Subtractor?
That way the sound could be more flexible for tweaking and mixing?
So are there any good refills for Subtractor (Subtractor is the esiset synth for me/the one I can use pretty good)
none
my god how bout just saving the presets in a folder? refills are pretty stupid really. its like a zip file only u cant access the file with anything else but reason. and u can never extract it (well theres a app no the web but no official stuff). once the refill is made u can never change it. stupid really.

no i realized emidiately that u could not self-contain stuff from refills in your project, and thats why i never used refills. horrible for backups, collabs, remixing etc etc
