This EP highlights the talents of Dutch up and comers EC50. This duo consists of Adam Hamidat and Maximin Lavoo. Max and Adam are making deep intelligent minimal and this release showcases this brilliantly. With a deep, moody remix by San Francisco's Alland Byallo, all angles are covered in this DJ friendly package.

D1 : Dead Fly - 7:03

Dead Fly features shuffling percussion bits juxtaposed with a punching kick drum. The breakdowns are spacey and layered, which all comes together when the beat returns.

D2 : Hia - 7:42

Stuttering kickdrums and a travelling bassline weave in and out of the clanging industrial sounds. The final break has ascending subsonics which culimnates in a fury of fire.

D3 - Oh What A ... - 8:26

Atmospheric origins converse with percussive elements. The pads wind away and the rhythm pulses through. There is a lot of layering and taking away in this track, which covers ambient relaxation with dancefloor destruction.

D4 - Oh What A... (Alland Byallo Remix) - 9:18

Beginning with reverbed congas, this remix takes the original deeper than the Marianna trench. The synth line builds to a nice melody which dissipates when the rhythm returns. Very deep and mental, excellent remix!
