Hi TA,

after releasing a 3 hours live @ Circus, obviously more dancefloor oriented, you all know I like to come back from time to time to something more experimental. This one is very special, along the ropes of Starman or Monday Morning Revisited... but different.

GHOST was a personal challenge, I hope you enjoy it. Warning, this is not for the untrained ear, and it's quite intense, strange and uneasy.

I'm very grateful you take time to listen to what I do, your feedback is always appreciated.

I can totally understand why you, or anybody else wouldn't enjoy my early days... But when you say it was THAT bad, I think you are exagerating. Sure the flow was not as good, and those techno days were very hard and fast, and I was starting so yeah I was learning...

But yeah I got better at this I guess ;-)

But it's not like it was a pure mess, total trainwreck or nonsense. I can pull out some of my old sets from time to time, and it's really not as bad as you say.

It was pretty bad. Mixing was Ok (at best) track selection was completly terrible there was no flow and it was going nowhere just a succession of song.

On the other hand it let you became what you are now so it was probably a good thing :P

Btw, I have nothing against the good old techno (I kinda miss the hard hitting and funky tech or 2000-2001-2002 getting kinda bored with this "new" techno which is not techno to me anyways) I do listen to everything I just didn't think you were a good dj. BUT I must say that you've evolved into something very very good and that, if I have too, will take my words back and say that you are probably one of the best dj's in the whole province at the moment (doesn'T change the fact that you were not that good when u started :P)

At least he knows that I'm never going to lie to him. His new mix is REALLY good.

Edit: Just to make it clear I'm going to set things straight. I have a LOT of respect for Martin. I think he has done more than anyone can say they have/will done for Montreal Scene. There aren't a lot of people who can say that they were a moderator on one of the biggest forum associated with Edm, threw some of the best parties this cities have seen and is starting to become of the best djs we have in the province. Sure he started out a pretty crappy dj at first but I have yet to see someone become a good dj instantly. Sure I thought he was only part of the wave of "everybody is a dj" at the beginning of 2000 but he proved me wrong. Big gratz and hope you continue on this crazy journey of yours ! !

Dude Martin, I haven't even finished listening to this on the 56th minute and the mood in this fucking SET IS RIDICULOUS... It's twisting my fucking brain...

EDIT: Okay so Starman was good. However I didn't like all the parts of starman....

This set is perfect for building the right mood. It's like you get on a train and you don't know where it takes you, and as you are on it you realize how intense the trip really is....
