Last House On the Left Remake

What does the CoR think?

I think it has a good chance at being a pretty good remake. Looks intense as fuck.

Surprised Michael Bay's not at the helm, as classic horror remakes seem to be right up his alley these days.

At least Wes Craven and Sean S. Cunningham are actually involved in producing this one...

By the way, interesting to see Tony Goldwyn in this; been wondering what he's been up to.

Whenever I read the word remake I throw up a little in my mouth.

...and I don't think your regurgitation will be letting up any time soon.

By the way (in case you and others didn't know), Karate Kid is next.

personally.. [im a big 80's/90's horror movie fan] i didnt think that much to the original. its supposed to be one of wes cravens best most shocking movies.. but i thought it was tits, but then again maybe i need to watch it again. plus also, americans have an uncanny knack for making dogshit horror movies over these past 10 or so years. so my theory is.. take one shit horror movie.. give it a modern remake making it even more so shit. = diarrhea.

i may be wrong tho.. but really, im sure i could count on 1 hand good hollywood horror movies made in the last decade.

EDIT. just watched the trailer, dosnt look TOO bad, but id imagine thats all of the good stuff crammed into that 2 minutes

I've never seen the original but I always thought it was supposed to be about a haunted house or something. The trailer looks pretty intense, gotta say I'm actually interested in it.

Rated R for Sadistic Brutal Violence including rape and disturbing images, language, nudity and some drug use.

This guy Wes seems to really like rape in his movies.

well i thought the original was about that... i guess thats why i was dissappointed.. nothing worse than a horror movie that just about some normal human being that just kills people
