Where are our Ultra Spins?

These used to be my favorite events! Cheap cover, great lineups, awesome atmosphere, and most importantly ALL ACCESS. They were also usually a great time for us to actually hear some bloody trance in this city, considering most of our events are house based.

I know many on this board got bored of the formula, because of the same acts showing up all the time. But, I found the events to usually have enough variety to make most happy. Maybe Circa has made these nights not profitable enough for the Guv?

Please, please bring back the ultra spins, or some other inexpensive all access events. Toronto needs its BIG party!

yeh seriously, i used to love these event. I can't even remember the last one i've been to! it may have been US9 (maybe there was one after, i forget).

It probably wasn't a winning formula for the club....and to a club owner....winning fomula for club > winning formula for club goer

Ultra spins are still available.

Just consume 3 pitchers of cheap beer as fast a possible & chase with a bottle of soju.

You won't have to wait for more than a couple hours after that.

I dont think the market is there for it anymore ... I never remember those events being super rammed or full. In fact I remember a few of them being slow (kool haus being dead etc).

It's not like before when they could book a completely seperate event for the kool haus (with say a DJ like Sasha or Deep Dish or Richie Hawtin) and have it rammed and have the main room next door (seperate cover) full as well.
