Cardinals

no preference. would like to see kurt warner win another one just because no one wanted him. but i'll probably be rooting on the steelers as i'm a niners fan and naturally hate the cardinals.

did not see this coming at all.....i dont care who wins....am a J.E.T.S fan...so you know how that is.....

My eagles never showed up until the 2nd half, but would like the Cards to take it all.

worst superbowl ever... i hope the cardinals get destroyed because they don't deserve to be there

The Patriots are better than most of the teams and they didn't even make it to the playoffs. Fucking lame!

^^^^^ HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHA yea um okay....that pats have sucked all season, competing with the dolphins and the eagles and still couldn't make it.

After the giants choked and died to the crap ass eagles I called the steelers to win and that's what I am sticking with.

The cards barely made it past the eagles and the eagles were only riding the wave of luck and emotion to get to where they did yesterday.

The Patriots ended up 11-5 and usually that is good enough to get a first round bye in the playoffs. Competing with the eagles? What are u talking about? The Eagles are in the NFC not the AFC. The Patriots got better throughout the season despite several key injuries. They should have beaten the jets which ended up being the deciding game of the season for them if not for a dumb penalty or two they would have.

The Giants got lucky last Super Bowl and this year they proved they were a total chokejob I wonder how good the Giants would have been if they lost Eli Manning the first game of the season. I highly doubt they would have been 11-5 like the Patriots were. Matt Cassell took a bit of time to get used to the system then he was putting up Brady like numbers. If he started the year as the number 1 qb there is no way the Patriots wouldn't have been in the playoffs. Next year we will be back competing for the super bowl once again

lol, no comments on Eli....not a fan myself.

Just woke up sorry I confussed one crappy ass team for another, eagles, jets they are all the same to me....nothing lol. Either way, aside from Vtec I think this is a pretty useless super bowl for all of us here.

My point was the Patriots got off to a slow/awful start and lost their number 1 qb early in the season and there was only a couple of major losses for them ie. blowouts. They were much better a team than they were in the first few weeks of the season. They are better for sure than the Cardinals who are in the Super Bowl. They absolutely embarassed them in the 2nd or last week of the season.

I didnt say they were a better team than the Steelers I just said they are a better team than most of the teams that made it to the playoffs easily.

This is the fist time since I've been here that I've followed the football. I really enjoyed it but I have no interest since the Pats didn't make the play offs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ^^^^^^^

you must be kidding yourself

do you realize that the patriots had half a friggin team the entire season and they STILL managed to win 11 games... they lost a few others by less than a touchdown.

they DESTROYED the cardinals 47-7 about 4 weeks ago. the patriots beat miami and new york 2/4 times we played them and due to the "tiebreaker", they didn't make it into the playoffs... the 2nd half of the season showed that the patriots were probably one of the top teams in football yet teams like the Cardinals make it to the superbowl.

And they did it without Brady. Cassel was fucking excellent in My opinion. I wonder whether He'll be here next season.

thats a shit point to make considerng the Cards already clinched the NFC West and had nothing left to play for.

The Pats on the other hand needed that win

Which teams made it to the playoffs easily, other then the Cardinals?

Posted by yankeeBaby on Jan-19-2009 16:30:

I think the point here is that the pats DIDNT make it so talking about it is worthless. Therefore, see ya next year!!

The giants probably shouldnt have collapsed the way they did at the end of the season, the Pat's shoulda got into the playoff's, the eagles probably shouldn't have lost to the Cards, and the Panthers probably shoulda won, too. The whole season and playoffs is a whole buncha "shoulda's", but isnt that part of the game??

In any case I wouldnt mind seeing the Cards win, but I am thinking the Steelers will take it. Not sure if I wanna put money on it tho, seeing as all the "shoulda's" have f*cked most of us over at some point this season.

(PS I am sure brian is a very happy man right now........hima nd his DAMN pittburg teams!!! )
