Kung Fu Hustle

This movie is more random than Family Guy. I am totally not comprehending what's going on half the time.

Like yeah I get it - these gangsters are taking over a slum. But what the fuck are all these great kung-fu masters doing in a slum. It's a rather large concentration of them for one area. Do they all hang out and play cards?

I am hoping for a somewhat tolerable conclusion to this crap.

Never seen it, but it did receive a 7.8 rating on IMDB. So it's probably pretty decent. Is it subtitled?

it's entertaining so long as you don't mind not knowing what the fuck is going on. and its english dubbed by the way.

they met a long time ago. it's actually them grown up but viewing each other (symbolically) as when they first met as children. he protected her against getting her lollipop taken away and got his ass beat. and then became a kung fu master. and now works at a candy shop and she comes by and re-discover each other.

The film is making fun (parody) of wuxia films. You know, those Jackie Chan movies we all know and love from back in the day. Can't forget Bruce Lee either.

I like this movie. It is more about cinematography that actual plot, because asian humor is very hard to understand and it is very different.

Thought those kids pissing on him as a small kid was a little but unnecessary, fantastic film though, loved it. The effects/choreography are done by the same guy/people that did Kill Bill.
