How was it for you? Perhaps we could share stories. What were you in for?
I'll begin: assault...beat up this wormy guy who kept bothering me.
Thanks

I did. In high school. I was sentenced to 6 periods, 5 days a week, from 8 a.m to about 4 p.m for 4 years.

had a brother that did 9 years for a drive by...and a brother now thats doing 23 years for attempted murder
Did an hour or two in Rosarito, Mexico.
So in Puerto Villarta you can drink alcohol in the streets as long as it isn't in glass. Apparantly not in Rosarito.
Officer told me to go in the van. (wouldn't take my bribe)...slowly they put more people in the van. Had to take a leak...so took it in the corner of the van.
The van moved...there was a fight in the middle of the street. Stopped put the fighters in the van and then an officer sprayed pepper spray in the van...started coughing/choking, threw us in out of the van into another van to the station.
@ the station either you do 24 hours or someone gets you out for like $25. My dumbass trying to fit in said my name is Miguel and my friend tried to get out Michael...no Michael here. So he eventually came to the cell and pointed me out.
That's my jail story.
Got pulled over for speeding on my way home which led to a DUI...only spent a day in a holding cell. I also got a huge fine when I got caught not paying for a subway ticket....it's all Digweeds fault!

Make them to you to the station...if you feel you are sober enough to blow...blow...if not make them call a registered nurse to pull your blood...after you get out of jail, go to the Dr. and test your blood alcohol level yourself for evidence. Recently, a friend of mine listened to my advice to refuse anything on scene and she got away with a warning. |
i did ALLLL of the above, and my blood had the same BAC as the preliminary, had the same BAC as the breathalizer. (and the Dr's test was non-admissible in court, because it was done so much later, and not in the presence of an officer). I guess i could've refused the prelim test @ the scene.. but it ended up being the same BAC anyways. (and i aced all my touching nose BS). luckily i didnt have to go to jail tho.. we have "first chance"... that had a nice comfy couch for me to pass out on

i got pulled over on my way home from a bar recently after atleast 5 or 6 drinks, they gave me every test they could think of and i passed and didnt have to do the breathalizer. Got lucky. So i decided to invest in a breathalizer of my own ($200). I use it every time now and i wont drive if over the legal limit. Very helpfull!!

So even if you get arrested but the officer notes that you refuse to take preliminary on scene alcohol screening and the court doesn't give you a DUI, the DMV will see the note and suspend your license. This is what happened to the actor Shia LaBeouf who crashed his truck, his lawyers got him off his DUI with the courts since he refused the field preliminary test and blew under the legal limit at the jail but DMV still suspended his license for a year. I also got a DUI and my lawyer got it reduced where the court didn't suspend my license but the DMV decided to suspend my license for a year Oh yeah, girls get away with more drunk driving than guys, I have lots of friends that are girls and they always seem to get off with a warning when pulled over for drunk driving, while almost all of my guy friends including me get DUI's. It's the power of the PUSSY i tell ya! Girls don't need to do anything but look cute & bat their eyes. |

I participated in the LA club scene and got sentanced to life to the West Coast TranceAddict forums
you know whats worse than getting a DUI? killing someone because you were too fucking stupid to have a designated driver or take a cab.
I guess I'm not surprised that a large portion of this community drives while intoxicated (no matter what the drug)

IM PRISON MIKE.
I have served time.
All my time total prolly ads up to a week only though. I was fortunate enough to either have my mom's bail me out or the current g/f i had at the time.
First time was for street races, i only spent like a day and a half. My g/f bailed me out since my pop's refused to (even though my mom wanted to, or she says).
I spent another 24hrs being investigated on a warehouse party that we through inside a empty warehouse. I was eventually released after questioning because i made it sound like i had NOTHING to do with the party, and i had payed to get in. Cops busted it because of the trail of cars that went from the main street all the way to the industrial building. Which didn't make sense at 3am on a Sat night in a business park.
Next time was for assault 2 days stay. I basically got into a big fight and fucked up some homeboy/gangster guy. I got bailed out of that once again by my current g/f which was a different one since the last time. Same story my parents didnt want to bail me out.
The last time (and hopefully the last) was a few years ago. I got pulled over because i was driving a "modified honda." Low and behold when the cop ran my record i had a bench warrant for not taking those stupid anger management classes from the assault charges. So i got taken in to custody and i had AAA tow my car home because my g/f was afraid to drive the car. This stay was another day and a half until i finally got bailed out this time by my mom. By this time my parents had divorced, so i guess my mom wasn't lying after all?
But yeah, jail sucks. You meet those most cracked out people with even more cracked out stories. The lights being on all the time takes a toll on you. I didn't really mind the food, i am not picky so it was fin with me. Shit i was eating other peoples apples and veggies since they didn't want them. Luckily i never had to use the restroom, so i didn't have to go through that ordeal. Shitty part for me was seeing 2 different ass hats that i knew growing up inside the jail. One was a guard (cop now) and the other was an inmate.

| sounds like your going to be serving some time. when, where and for how long? got a buddy of a buddy doing 30 days in county. ex-marine with anger issues. beat someone up also. |
Its better to go in like you are already prepared.
When you go in all of a sudden out of no where, makes it that much harder to deal with.
