Man, every time I think of Milwaukee I think of that scene in Wayne's World where Alice Cooper is talking about the historical significance of "Millie-wah-kay". Lolololol.

Lol, a mwta wrote that. But yeah, Milwaukee really doesn't have the amount of hookers to make that claim.

i might be going to the JPLS show with the kid who wrote that article.

i laughed pretty hard when i saw the headline, but it's nice to see Projekt being promoted. their shows are about the only ones i'd even consider going in this city.

Thanks for the laugh.

Hahah. My friend was like "Milwaukee doesn't even make good beer anymore!"

Posted by lcid on Jan-20-2009 22:46:

all the beers associated with Milwaukee were never that good to begin with.

Posted by Omega_Blue on Jan-20-2009 23:02:

"In fact, isn't Milwaukee an Indian name?"
"Y-yes Pete, it is."

Being from Naperville, a city directly east of Aurora, IL (Wayne's World location), literally everybody I know is a Wayne's World fan. Still watch it religiously.

99% of the time when I ask people if they like techno [or anything related] they say no.

Milwaukee as a whole has never been very good for any music scene.

what's funny is, my friend is a DnB guy, and he may at some point help me get going playing clubs through his promoter friends.

I keep hearing "don't play trance though, stick with the electro"

Posted by lcid on Jan-21-2009 01:57:

Posted by Omega_Blue on Jan-21-2009 02:19:
