[trance/prog] msz - pleasant relapse

here is a track i've enjoyed working on recently. Although the intro i find is not very strong, i really like the main part. With better eqing, structure and variation I think i could have something good here. no outro on this version

constructive criticism much appreciated. Thanks for listening.

listening to the track and commenting as we go..

kick sounds nice with those percs adding nice feel to it.
maybe a bit too loud the kick i mean. pad comes in, but sounds a bit hollow to me. maybe add more reverb there..?

nice little pluck melody comes quite soon and the steady pumping keeps the track rolling along quite good.
i would propably add more drums like hats and stuff (cos i like alot of drums) heh.. now what is this..
the break sounds amazing! great use of effects. sounds wide and gentle just the way i like it.

great rough bass rising out and kicking in with the melodies. sounds good but i feel as though it's missing something..
don't know what.. maybe more pads and some drums on this and it will be pristine.

keep at it. sounds good so far 8/10!

Can agree with the quantumplay about the bassline , it just sounds good but wrong at the same time?
Maybe add some more low end to it?
But overall its ok.

I hear you on that, perhaps i should've posted the 320 instead of the 192, might give it some more low bandwith? There is a sub bass present, perhaps automating volume at certain points would also make it sound fuller. cheers.

Scanned through quickly...

Nice musical ideas here but it still feels hollow and patchy. With further development you could make this an awesome progtrance choon. Sorry for being so ambiguous... long day.

its cool, thanks for the honesty and taking the time to listen. I will aim for more unique sounds in the future, and further develop my mixing.

p.s. bump your mojito track when the armstrong remix comes out and put it in the space ;D
