im lookin for good cheap hotels in south beach.... need suggestions...

That and a lot of the hotels are booked full right in South Beach. It will definitely take some scrounging to find a good deal.

Bullshit...check out http://vacationrentals.com for a lot of rent-by-owner places. Many will be expensive, but you can find several for less than 250 a night. I'm staying at 3rd and Ocean for $100/night.

i think u booked VERy early......we got a 2 bedroom for 175 a night

I went to vacationrentals.com. I've left not even kidding like 45 inquiries. all booked up. So good luck with that website. I'ma probably stay at a hostel looking like. Fine with me, more money to get looney.

175 for a 2 bed place is a killer deal as well. Where is it located? My place is just a studio. For the record, I booked 2 weeks ago. I always start looking in December because most of the inexpensive spots get booked up quickly.

well we had a place almost booked on Washington Ave for 800 for the week......this was in october!!, but then the owner found out it was WMC week that week and jacked it up.......that was the whole point of booking early!

Most property owners know that WMC is the last week in March every year. I'm surprised he didn't know when you first talked to him.

I had a few people tell me in December that they don't take reservations more than 3 months in advance, which makes no sense. Why not book as many dates as possible to secure income?

yeap...i ran into one of those in the same building that we were trying to rent.......its okay...we are not staying on the beach, rather closer to SPace,sine that is the area we mostly will be partying at..... right on the bay tho......1500 Sq Ft........2 bedrooms in a high rise....nicer digs than castle beach, but even then, the price makes up for it.....

Sounds like a nice pad. I considered staying downtown or elsewhere, but I finally decided that it was SoBe or nothing

i didnt wanna chance the drunk driving thing this year.....and anything that i could really find on the beach cost more, and was pretty much just 1 bed and a sleeper sofa...forget it...might as well have good sleep, whatever sleep u do get....still...about 250-300 person is awesome!

Cadet hotel, 200/night for the week. 17TH and James, one block from Collins. Nice and clean and small, hard to beat for 2 blocks from the beach.
