Question about St. Patty's Day - Savannah

Hey guys, I'm a TA from up in New York with a question hopefully some of GA residents can answer:

Right now I'm in the midst of planning my brothers Bachelor Party, and one option we were considering was going to Savannah the weekend before St. Patrick's Day (March 13th-15th) because apparently the St. Patty's celebration is crazy there.

I was just wondering if anybody knew from experience whether that weekend itself will be wild, or just the Tuesday of that holiday?

I'd appreciate any help or advice in the matter.

the weekend prior is off the hook almost as good if not better then ST. Patties it self. So enjoy!
