How do u dance?
Hi all!
im pretty new to this badass board and ive got a lil question for ya!
U know there are several ways n flavors of trance n techno, and so are the ways like ppl rock if they feel the tunes u know?
did u mentioned that before? i found this very interesting to see how ppl react if they are confrontated with trance in clubs or festivals or whatever... in clubs the place isnt that big so u have almost no chance to dance real gabba u know?
lets discuss a bit, u might have found some videos/pics of stylish moves?
Like a glowstick being sucked up a hoover.
lots of strobe lights
jump up and down happilly
i try and get into the groove of the music and just flow with it.
when my friendss listen to a trance song (let's say arome - hands up)
they all ask me how do u dance to that i shit...i go crazy punch em a few times then show them how haha
To actually conciously think about how you dance is bad enough - but to talk about 'moves' in a discussion forum.......... WHAT THE FUCK???!!
I put my left foot forward, bring it back and then repeat the process with my right foot. Really quickly.
And repeat.... and again.......

I let the music dictate
i do something like a skip and kick, everytime i go to a rave, someone asks me to teach them how to do it, cuz everyone else is doing candy walk (or i think people call it nordic trac)the one where you just move one leg forward while making the other go back ward, and so on (i dont know, kind of hard to explain without a demonstration), so mine is different, just imagine someone skipping and kicking at the same time in place, and thats me
i dont know how i dance, nothing special, diferent things every time..i follow the bass..and when i hear something incredible or i recognize one favourite track im going crazy by jumping and moving hands up..
hmm
glowsticks are for girls and young ppl/wannabes

how i dance?
hmm.. i just f00kin roCK the dancefl00r
that's how i dance

well cool that so much postet here
mostly a wave and rave with my arms and hands. and kicking to da bass a bit with an unstobable whip in my knees u know?
however ppl say it looks cool, but i dont care, i care for da beat and da sounds all the time thats it...
anyways i really wanted to know about this "Nordic Track" or "Candy Walk" like liquidxxd called it?
whats that about?
is that the classic gabba move? i mean if u watch some gabba freaks they go like hell and it locks kinda slick, but they are wearing some slut gay clothes sometimes

EDIT:
liquid how does your skip kick style look? may discribe it a bit more sounds interesting
May someone have some videos or anything from those gabbas?
nordic tracking (sky walking...) is basically an old move that american ravers use for when they kick one leg forward while sliding their other leg back. kind of like that old exercise machine, the nordic track. (clever, huh? haha)
if you go to parties now, you still see hella ppl popping and sky walking, but more and more ppl are house stepping, which is kind of a variation of skywalking and popping. dope to watch but hard to explain. i guess you just need to see it to understand...
WHEN i dance, it has to be a good song with a good beat,
then it's shades on, head down, and stop thinkin of what i'm doing. The music will make the legs move.
If you called it a style it would be liquid nordic trak.
I liquid Dance a bit, and do some other dance that i don't think has a name to it... alot of Fancy step work that's for sure, and no it's not kick steping.
