What is this?

M-Audio Trigger Finger with pre-programed maps for Ableton:

What exactly does this do? I have 8 pads like this on my axiom 61, so is it essentially like an "extension" for the use of these pads?

Someone please learn me.

if i had to take a guess by looking at your other dj equipment - it is another piece of hardware that you don't know how to use that blends in perfectly with the rest of your set up

It's a Midi control surface, your Axiom is the same thing. You can program any key/pad/button/rotary to control settings in Ableton. Thus DJ or produce with it.....

I just got the M-Audio UC-33e and also have the Axiom 61. Just started tinkering around with setting both up to DJ & Produce w/Ableton.
