Andrew Mcdonnell

footwork last night was so so... the only thing that held it together was ANDREW MCDONNELL!!! This guy is a master at spinning. His set was amazing. My question is why this guy fucking opening every time i see him. Dekoze should have been opening for him. I left right before dekoze set ended at around 130. That was the earliest i have EVER left a club in Toronto. By the end of his set i counted around 1/4 of the people including myself just standing there (i never just stand there!) . He had lots of energy, but the music he was playing was way under par. I didnt even get to see the bday boy spin!!!

Back to Andrew. We got there around 10:15 and he was already into it. I started dancing right away and never stopped. They guy built the set perfectly! No bumps or fuckups. Everyone was soooo into the prog! I talked to him after and asked him the same shit. Why dekoze wasnt opening for him... His response was it will happen some day. I think that some day is now! This dude is a very talented person and need the recognition he deserves.

I've been telling Andrew for years, that he's one of my faves. He's sets are always solid.

Sorry I'll be missing Andrew play this weekend.

Always a pleasure hearing his selections over the loud speaker.

Kill it tonight Andrew!

I've said it before & I'm saying it again:

Andrew McDonnell needs to have the opportuinty to play the following venues:

1) BOAT CRUISE...somebody please make this happen.
2) Footwork in the headline slot.
3) Guvvy main room at late night.

More importantly, he needs to be given more gigs in general, so we can hear more of him.
