Rear Projection TV's = What does it mean when the screen shows blue only....?
i know its fucked but what part of the actual TV causes it to go completely blue? is it something that can be fairly easy to get fixed or bin job?
Is this "TV" like hypothetical?? And is this blue vision something that's been hanging since Rainbow??

It could be something simple and easy on the Blue CRT drive board gone wrong driving it too hard and bright to subdue all other colours.
Need a bit more info. Like do you have diagonal lines across the screen? On screen display etc available or not? Can you at least see some faint washed images of the broadcast etc on the screen, is there sound and the brand of the TV would help.
double check your cables.
otherwise a color or two are gone.
Hahaha Blue Man Group... gold.
Cheers guys,
The picture and reception is fine as is the sound, its just totally blue.. if that helps?
Your TV's racist - only wants you to see everything as one colour ..

LOL
Looks like not getting the whole RGB signal to the CRT tubes. Nothing serious but can not comment on the cost etc. Give it a go and get it fixed if it's under $250
Looks like Kevin Rudd can pay for a new one for you boys
only if he follows my friend lara's instruction....
Dear Kev,
First of all I wanted to thank you for trying to give me $950. That is pretty cool of you. It usually takes way more convincing to get people to give you free money, so kudos. I am going to use the money to buy a new printer and textbooks for Uni, which I'm starting this year so that will be very helpful. I'm going to be a graphic designer when I grow up, so if you ever need any flyers or anything please let me know! I will give you a special PM discount! I have worked out this should cost me about $300, I'm going to spend $100 on me, on new clothes or going out, and I'm going to put the rest into savings or paying off debt. My parents are really proud of me because I'm not usually very responsible with money. It's hard though because I only get around $550/week after tax and once I've paid my $250 in rent and bills I don't really have much left to be responsible with. So thanks dude. Much appreciated.
There are a few things that concern me though. First, I only earn $35k a year, and someone told me today that $100k is considered "middle" income. Middle?! 100k?!?!?! That's almost three times what I earn! Such numbers are unfathomable to me. If I was earning even 60k I would be so rich. I'd go buy clothes from real stores, not just op shops, and I wouldn't have to look on ebay for everything else. It'd be mad. I think it's good that people that earn over 80k are getting a bit less, but I would have staggered the scale through even lower incomes. Or maybe give more to people who have higher rents or mortgages, cos they take up a massive chunk of your pay. My rent and bills are about half of what I earn! Not trying to be selfish or anything, but if you are giving free money to poor people, it doesn't seem fair that someone who earns twice as much as me and pays less rent gets the same amount.
Also I think you should expand your free money for families to include people with older kids too. My dad has five children, aged from 24-44, and even though we are old we are always scabbing money off him. Every year I try really hard to save enough money for my registration and insurance, but every year I have to borrow some from him because I can't afford it. Then I try to pay him back during the year but because I do that, I don't have any for the next year!! I am stuck in a loop of debt, Kevin. It's not very nice. My dad doesn't like you very much, and he doesn't vote for you, but it's not his fault, he's loved the liberal party since forever and is pretty set in his ways. It is hard for him to see someone else's point of view sometimes. But he is a nice man and he is good to his kids, so maybe you could give him some money too? He could put it in a separate account and next time we want to scab off him he could use that money.
I heard today that the Senate might try to block our $950. I would be really upset if that happened. Maybe you should wait until you are sure you are going to be able to give people free money before you tell them about it. Lots of people will be sad if it doesn't happen. My boyfriend has already decided how he is spending his money on a computer or a wii or an iPhone or a plane ticket, he has been wanting that stuff for ages so if he can't get it with his $950 he will be sad. And then I will have to deal with him being sad. And then I'll be sad because he's sad, and it will just end up with the whole country being sad, mourning their $950 that never was... Except for maybe the people who earn $79k a year because that's only half a weeks wages for them. They will probably be okay. But I don't think many people actually earn that much, because everyone's broke all the time.
Also, I don't think it's fair you have told us all not to ask for payrises. I have been working at my job for nearly a year and a half now, and I was supposed to get a payrise after a year, but it hasn't happened yet. I have been working hard and I'm much better at my job now than I was when I started, and I think I deserve a bit of an income boost. Do you think you could make an exception for me? I work for [a business] so if you want to let my boss know that it's cool, and you said it was okay for me to get a payrise I would appreciate it very much. Alternatively you could just pay some extra money straight into my bank account. I am pretty sure the ATO have my bank details but if they don't just let me know and I'll send them across for you.
While I am writing to you, there is something else I want to bring up. As I mentioned earlier, I am starting Uni this year, I am doing my course part time by correspondence because I need to work full-time as well otherwise I can't afford to pay my rent and stuff. So because it is by correspondence, I need to have access to the internet so I can read my notes and things. It is pretty exciting because I haven't had computer or the internet since I lived at home. I feel really high tech with all of my new-fangled gizmos!! Anyway, I live in Richmond in inner Melbourne, and when I went to try to get the internet connected at my house I was amazed to find about half of the providers in my area are 'at capacity'. How can the internet be at capacity?! I know you had big plans to bring high-speed broadband to the bush, but what about Richmond?! In the end I am having to pay heaps of money for the internet because all the cheaper providers are 'at capacity'. So maybe you could invest some money in city internet as well. I'd be very thankful. I still probably won't vote for you because I vote for the Greens, but I promise i'll put you second.
Anyway, I think overall you are probably not doing too bad a job, but to be honest I don't pay that much attention to politics, I think they're pretty boring. My boyfriend loves politics though and he thinks you are awesome, he is always going on about how good you are and he watches news and politics programs on the ABC all the time so he probably knows what he is talking about for the most part. I like you better than Turnbull anyway. When you laugh you look kind of Asian and I like that.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my letter. I am glad you are interested in the opinions of your citizens.
Kind regards,
Lara
