Mixer Knobs

Has anyone tried to replace the knobs on their mixers with something different? Where would one find such parts(Found 'em on DJ Deals, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay $5 for one )? I'd imagine that they're fairly universal.

Saw a mixer where the fader caps had been replaced by micro machines once. that was pretty cool

My Rane Empath came with 2 sets of knobs...soft and hard ones. Yes u can replace knobs with whatever u want, as long as they are the same shaft size. Check out some electronic parts companies for a plethora of knobs.
