collaboration?

Dear Tranceaddicts

Im looking for a collaborator and wondered if there was anyone here might be interested.

You'd ideally;

- be good with beats and mix engineering;
- be wanting new inspiration or needing some quality melodic input to your tunes
- like me, have some industry experience and hopefully a maturer outlook on things

The reason I say this is because I'm;

- good with melodies and basslines, and breakdowns;
- have a lot of ideas that are sitting there because i've lost perspective and need fresh ears;
- am a bit more mature, or so I'd like to think - my ladyfriend might disagree!

Personally, Im not into forumlaic trance, I just like EDM that has dirty or pounding bass, clever melody or a catching rhythm (which at the moment means, Deadmau5, The Prodigy and Agnelli & Nelson, for some names).

I have released before, but rarely under my own name. Here's quick Youtube some links to tracks I've worked on in the past, if curiosity takes-

If any of this takes interest I'd love to hear from you at [email protected]

Thanks,
O

You might have more luck if you actually post a sample of your own work!

Hi Luke, those are my own work. (co-writer, co-producer).

edit - and you've got the whole track, albeit radio rip.

Hi Sterilis, I occasionally work for Jules, and the Vandit tune I co-wrote with Lange and Gaz.

I dont go on forums much these days, but I can appreciate you'd get a lot of b*llsh*tters, Im not, Im just genuinely looking for someone of similar mindset to work with, thats all.

so your input would be just to write melodies?

Hey tank, just curious, what DAW/synths do you use? Of course, it's not a necessity that the people you collaborate with have the same apps, but IME it's much more convenient.

Indeed, it's why I don't post a lot on here any more...

Give me a mail [email protected] I reckon there is potential for something good

I think I may have even got sent Generator / Siren sent to me back in the day! Think I'll go have a hunt in the loft

Hey cryophonik, yes I know what you mean - its a pain bouncing to audio, though thats probably what I'd be reduced to.. I use Reason, Tracktion and Logic all on PC. I have a Live 5 NFR, which I'm sure I could get to grips with more if I needed to, though I dont find it too intuitive - what about you?

Luke - haha, thats a blast from the past.. dig it out and dust it off.. nothing like the smell of old vinyl!

Will do..
