Unhappy Do cats have emotions ???

My persian has been missing for seven days.

I'm so sad.
Not sure if he's dead, ran away, or hooked up with a bitch in heat.
Do cats have feelings?

Do they miss people like people miss them?

Oh Amber, I'm sorry your cat ran away. I hope he comes back. Hopefully if he got a bitch pregnant, it was a Persian bitch and not an ugly regular looking cat.

do u think i'll ever see him again?

Posted by TSG on Feb-07-2009 05:58:

Ambie, how old is your cat?

You shoulda had him neutered and he wouldn't have left.

Yeah cats miss people but not the way we miss them.

If he is still alive, he'll probably come back unless some one kept him and decided to have him neutered.

I once had a cat that disappeared for like 3 yrs. He ended up one day at my back door meowing for me. He was all grungy looking and stuff and still wore the same collar I had put on him yrs ago.

aw, im sorry. my cat def misses me when i come home..
but i doubt he cries or misses me like you miss the fluffball

He misses me hanging out with him, scratching his tummy and feeding him.

I'm convinced the cats only like us because we feed them.

+1

cats are among the most selfish animals. They just want to be fed and pet.

So do guys!

Cats are selfish? What do you want in return? A back rub? A gift? Oh wait! They do bring us gifts! A cute little birdie they've caught or some lizard they found in the yard. Hellz they're even there by our side when we are feeling down.

Cats aren't selfish, they just more independent.

Dogs are much more rewarding and attentive to their master.

dogs are dependent, cats are independent. whichever one you are is whichever one makes the best pet for you.

No, cats do not have feelings, they are evil.

See, cats are evil...that video's gonna give me nightmares.

My cat is very emotional...he's super attached to me. Drives me nuts sometimes, lo. If I'm mean to him, he has this pissed off look and ignores me for a day or two then gets all cuddly again.

He's super friendly...will run up to anyone who is willing to pet him...for a few mintues, then runs back to me and plops himself on my lap...when I go to bed, he's up shoving himself against me within two minutes so he can go to sleep too. Seriously...can drive me nuts!!

When I was young, we had to give one of our cats away....and gave it a relative that lived about 10 miles away.

Woke up the next morning...cat was meowing at our door. Cat ran all the way back home! And it wasn't fixed!

BTW, is your cat expensive? Some breeds do have high theft rates.

They probably didn't pet him or feed him.

No cats are notorious for finding their ways home. I believe she said her breed was Persian. Which actually looks Asian. lol

Persian cats and Persian rugs are usually expensive.
