Quite possibly 98% done. I felt this one a lot and it really did kind of come together rather suddenly. Any thoughts or suggestions or feedback guys? Thanks as usual.

Hey guys, my FTP is back up and running.
You can use this direct link:

WOW - I really enjoy this track!!!! It sort of has a techy... tyler michaud type sound. This is perfect for me, as I start of playing house then trance so this is a great way to bridge the gap. WOuld you mind if I played this out?
Not a bad job with this one , not my style but i listened to it twice!
Thanks guys, I added some FX and stuff and played with the arrangement. Do you like this new version better?
http://lego.zianet.com/tilda140/unwrittenstory2.mp3
Thanks again.
ps. Yeah let me finish it up and you can play it out I'm sure, unless something comes up.
I like both... I like the hi hat pattern a bit more in version 2, its a little less harsh at the beginning, and teh FX are cool... but version one worked good too, it was a bit more minimal. I'm keepin both lol! They both progress very nicely. I'd keep version 1 as "Original Mix" and version 2 as "Alternative Mix".
I haven't heard anything from you yet but I really like this one!!!
EDIT
If you used that pad you have, and drop the kick for a few bars you could do like an intro mix deal too.
Anyways GREAT track.
Thanks man. I like the way the hihats "drop" and have that minimal effect, I actually want to keep everything from Track 2 except use that minimal effect from track 1 in any final version. I'm glad you like the track, let me see if I can work on it a little more!
Sweet, I look forward to hearing it!
Thanks for spurring my thoughts about an intro... Spent quite a bit of time on that this time around. IMHO the intro is one of the hardest parts!
But here we go, ready to rock... waiting on final mastering... could take up to a week but we'll see. This could use some feedback though.

Hey man, sorry about the long reply time, I've been in Rochester, MN at a conference.
Anyway, finally hearing this and its really good!
All of these versions are great and I'd play any one of them! You should master all of them and make it like a 3 track web EP or something. Dunno why I like this so much but its really effin good stuff. Sounds pretty damn good... I like how the synth comes in at the begining, The break is nice (311 ish), comes a bit late in the track but thats cool it builds loads of tension. Maybe do a longer version and repeat it? Something around like 9 mins or so (Thast just my opinion, I love lonnnng tracks).
Its interesting, all 3 versions work great on their own and are equally unique... yet they are similar as well. Great job you've done here mate!
Wow dude.. I just took a listen to the final make, pretty crazy to say the least, I'd like to buy it once it's mastered!
If i may however, I'd like to say the drumkit could use some quirky, fun, changes in the first couple of mins, but then again, it is your track, and it seems your doing a better job than I in making your track very danceable, the outro gave me a Deadmau5 kind of feeling, which reminded me of when Not Exactly was number one on beatport ehe, I also am into a different genres of EDM, but like I said, I'd buy it, and play it, change or no change
Also noticed the slowed tempo, was quite nice to hear as many producers feel the need to make a track at 128..
I may post what I'm working on once I'm done fiddling around, I decided a Less is More approach and it's pretty interesting to see what I was able to do with a single synth and a bassdrum, however I may end up adding other synths or samples to make it more danceable, but I might also leave it and let it be a track that can easily be dominated by "heavier" energetic tracks, that reminds me! I have quite a load of work to figure out
All the best!
Holy crap, man! I just had to log in and say how much I liked these tracks. I am definitely giving them some play in the future! GREAT WORK!

Why do you insist on jamming your fecal matter into my ear drums?
That instrument at 0:46 still sounds like ass when it comes in. Kill its low frequencies. It sounds half palatable after after a bit. My biggest gripe is that the track really goes nowhere interesting for the first 3 minutes. The whole thing can be summed up in about 4 seconds.
The square lead that comes in at 3:00 has a nice feel to the composition, but you should build off of that composition to add an additional two bars.
The composition on that string at 5:00 sounds like crap.
Overall it's just not very interesting, even for slow progressive trance. Try listening to some Jaytech. I think that's about the sound you're going for.

I'm liking this a lot. It's like Andy Duguid meets James Holden!
Thanks for the awesome feedback guys, this one should be getting mastering soon!
And thanks Alan, I *do* know who Jaytech is.
Hey man, I had to come back and leave another comment on this one - i've been listening to it a bit over the last weekend and I gotta say it's growing on me even more. great great work.
I think at this point in time, I prefer the first version of this song. I like that echoed crash thing right before the bridge. I noticed you got rid of it in the second version. I also like how the bridge has a little less going on in the first one - its a little quieter and allows you to focus on the two sounds you have going on there.
That being said, I really like the second one too. The strings are a nice touch and it seems like you accentuated that one effect and brought it to the front a little more.
Each version in itself has it's merits and I think it's going to come down to personal preference. The one thing I would do (but i dont know shit about producing) is bring the lows up a little bit. I'd like to hear the bass line deeper. I just think that makes it stand out on great speakers. But not too much of course because the other elements of the song are great and they shouldnt be drowned out!
Again, awesome. I'm looking forward to hearing what you do with the final version. Maybe PM me when you're done?
Cheers!
Andrew
By the way, I used the second version of the tune last friday at a club (hope ya don't mind) and the crowd LOVED IT!!!!
If you want a listen, its the third track in the mix:

Good stuff, not typically my style but good none of the less.
I listened to the 2nd version, and the only thing I could say is that string needs a lower frequency pad to compliment it more.
Hey man, any news on a final version of this?
I cannot let this track disappear, its really effin good
Pretty nice track u got there.
My only complain would be more variation in the percussions.
