i think more towards the layout of the club with the VIP/tables taking up most of the dance floor.

i actually kinda like the place...and never seen a dresscode there during the conference.

sound system, layout of the club, and drink prices. ive never had any problems at mansion, but its pretty obvious the club only caters to the rich vip crowd and could care less about the average clubber. its a club where you go to be seen and show others how much money you can drop in one night. it has nothing to do with the music. and well, imo, thats kinda gay.

it used to be totally covered. now its about 70% covered. you have a little bit of room in front of the dj booth, but not much. it totally sucks ass.

I think im going to go wednesday for sanchez. other nights on want tickets are selling a vip table package ticket. Wed isnt offered. If have the club is covered with tables, we may have to get one to have a good time

this worked for us at S&D before...for 8 people they raised the price to like $2,400 or so 2 days before the party after originally saying $1,600...

so we said screw that and all bought presales - we got there around 11pm and once we got inside we saw that there were many empty tables and asked a waitress is we could get one and it was no problem. i think we spent like $800-$900 on 2 bottles...add in the $350 in cover charges, we paid around $1,200....much less than what they were quoting us in advance for 8 people. i'd try that if i was you...

Mansion has plenty of room in front of v.I.p. Some of you guys make mansion seem a lot worse than it actually is. The one thing that is bad is the staff and the drinks so definitely pre game, other than that if you've never gone just show up early and you'll have a good time

If you like S&D you should go. The clubs layout is huge. When top notch DJs come they usually require that the club open up some xtra room in front of the stage, and sometimes bring their own sound and video/lighting rigs. Dubfire seems to have done so this week, & it sounded better than I remember last time. (see videos below, first is view from next to stage looking back, second is view from back VIP towards stage)
