Hi peeps, just wondering if any of you people think that hard house is a big pile of shite like i do? i love trance but i absolutely hate hard house! or has it not appeared yet over in north America, if so your are a VERY lucky bunch of people, There is only one word that describes it in a nutshell BOLLOCKS!
There's plenty of Hard House at parties here in Western Canada... The headliners at Vancouver parties usually spin Trance or Hard House...
I prefer Trance over Hard House, but I think some Hard House makes for good "fun" party music, better than a lot of the overly "serious" (boring) trance sets I've been hearing at some parties, with little or no builds and breakdowns... But obviously a GOOD trance set beats Hard House any day.
But, my favourite party music, next to good uplifting trance would have to be Funky/Jazzy House.

I like Hard House more than Trance 'cause it's more energetic for me.
Most House sucks big time, its really popular here in Australia and trance is still small compared to house. I find House to be a cheep very cheesy Dance style
I like hh man.. or hard-trance... I like it when its got a nice hard beat which makes my chests pound..or a nice build up which turns into a HARD ASS TUNE!!!!!

It's the shittiest of all trance genres.(or whatever you wanna call it).
It sux,all songs look the same.
I see it as HARDCORE but then with a softer bass.
HARDHOUSE SUX & so does TOM "The NERD" HARDING!!!

I am no expert of Hard House, but I've heard enough to know its not for me... A DJ friend of mine spins HH and he gave me his demo CD to listen to, and boy was it boring..... Its just not for me, maybe if I hear a couple of HH tracks over a night of clubbin thats fine, but all night I would go insanse listening to it.....

Aahhh.. HH Haters alert... I like the old hard house.. its kinda fun. Maybe those of u who despise it have never heard it in the right conditions... after hours (6am-2pm) u just cant beat it after a good nights trance 
Trance will always be number one though.. I guess you either love hard house or you hate it, i think its fuckin cool

i like hardhouse/hardtrance A LOT, mainly cuz its more energizing than normal trance...
i love the older ('95 & older) hardcore/gabber as well...
itz just a matter of taste, so no need to go be calling ppl names Bellie... WTF, u even got a sample of Megamind - Taub in ur signature, THAZ FCCKING HARDHOUSE MAN!!! Megamind = one of the hardest producers ive ever heard!!! (not entirely true, but all they make is hardhouse, hardtrance & goa)

And I'm not a "hater" Im just not a big fan of it.. I can listen to it in the right conditions, but I much prefer Trance anyday...

Hardhouse is a very broad term; it can go from NU-NRG to the more Techno-like sounds (like Mauro Picotto and of course Megamind), so probably he means that NU-NRG (tom harding & dave randall stuff etc) SUX and I agree with that!! Man, that music is just crap!!!!!!!!!! My friends sometimes say..."Wow, I've been to Tom Harding and he plays HARD!" Well, that's the worst BULL-SHIT I've ever heard! Tom Harding doesn't spin hard music, the music he spins just has a (too) high bpm and is very noisy... Like Bellie said: it's just like hardcore with lesser bass in it.
Not even mentioning how cheap and cheesy it is.

Hard house isn't that bad, i agree with someone that is more "fun" music to listen too. I never really listened to it until a couple of years ago but all the parties that ive been to that are HH were great. BAD BOY BILL ESPECIALLY, HE KICKS ASS!!.

I think most hard house would be ok if it was just slowed down a bit. I'm listening to a hh cd at the minute and its ok but from time to time it just gets abit to cheesy for my liking.
P.S. I said this b4 but couldn't find the thread then, but bellie in your sig. should it not be "... not only of sight and of sound but of mind...". Maybe i'm wrong, thought thats what it sounded like though.

could someone list some producers of hadhouse? i dont really know what you all are talking about. is it the stuff that judge jules spins that are on his ibiza mix cd's .. conveniently named "house" as opposed to "trance" on the other cd....? if so than its not that bad.

Megamind = Mauro Picotto and sum other dude (might be Marco Zafferano, but dont quote me on that) Hard House does span quite large, but i dont really call megamind hard house, coz it aint the hard house im used to... Tony de Vit, now he is hard house
