It represents well the actual Tiesto's style... As for me, I'd had better appreciate it if I haven't heard his last livesets!
There's no surprise in ISOS3 !

But for somebody who likes trance and don't know about his last prod/mixing, it's an awesome compilation!

It basically just goes down to the fact that some people cant listen to down tempo trance....Nothing wrong with that...I can adjust to almost any genre and still really enjoy it.

Xpander you need to download this CD man, Its really smooth

this song is perfect to get freaky......

DJ Hooligan - Hear You Now (Grand Chillas mix)

this song is perfect to get down and dirty.........

In search of sunrise 3 is an amazing cd. I spent 80 minutes in my bed last afternoon listening to it on headphones and it was great. My only complaint is that he shouldnt gave given that long to southerm sun, even if its an excellent track, and he should have removed a track or two from it, what tracks? Im not sure. But if he did he would have been able to play out the first 6 for longer which would have been much better in my opinion.

There is also a slight mixing error between tracks 2 and 3, but it's nothing massive. Overall, ISOS3 IS GREAT.

Posted by thomassster on Jun-11-2002 01:54:

He doesn't have any good uplifting tracks on there, but decent average trance songs. Not a bad CD, but I thought it recieved a little too much hype. ISOS 2 will continue to be my personal favorite of the 3, but not a bad cd at all.

A great opener indeed.
I just wish Tiesto could've found something new to open this between now and late last summer when he was first using it.

hmm
to all of you who d/led this album
did u d/l each song individally, or the merged file??

01 Noa Assembly - Into The Fire
02 DJ Hooligan - Hear You Now (Grand Chillas Mix)
03 Starecase - Faith (Loafer Mix)
04 Andain - Summer's Calling (Josh Gabriel Mix)
05 Solar Stone - Solar Coaster
06 Tremor - Meia Lua (Steve Gibbs Mix)
07 DJ Tiesto - In My Memory (Gabriel & Dresden Mix)
08 Argonaut - Your Body Is A Temple
09 World Clique - Don't Do It
10 Chiller Twist - Stringz Ultd (Shelley Mix)
11 Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (DJ Tiesto Mix)
12 Accessive Rhythm - Activate
13 Way Out West - Mindcircus (Gabriel & Dresden Mix)
14 Nalin And Kane - Open Your Eyes
15 Jericho - Personal Reflexion

I expected the beat to be faster, but realized that a slower buildup makes for a better mix.

Thanks bro, a big thanks

Posted by Jah on Jun-11-2002 04:53:

i really like it
my only quarm is the 10 minutes devoted to southern sun... maybe some other tracks should have got some more time... *cough* track 2 *cough*

Posted by burns on Jun-11-2002 05:06:

Yeah, Southern sun was a bit long and he was begining to mix the 3rd track in on the 5 minute mark....way to quick for me

well as a representation of what he's been playing a few months bak etc its pretty accurate

i kinda agree that 10min of southern sun given how short some of the other mixes are is a bit excessive

Hell.... 1 minute of Southern Sun is too long. I don't like it in this mix at all. Completely ruins ISOS3 for me. Other than this track, I thoroughly enjoy the mix. I just don't feel that it has a place here, even if it is "one of the best tracks of the year"

3 doesn't hold a candle to ISOS2.
