-- Paul Ritch - Evil Laff [Wagon Repair]

Paul Ritch - Evil Laff [Wagon Repair]

The original mix isnt doing it for me. I've never liked the "dooka-dooka" percussion rhythms I personally dont know why people are still using this boring nonsense its been played out since 2006 maybe even before that.

The B-side, Konrad's remix is nice and smooth, will have to investigate on proper speakers. Nice cover art

Original is terrible. Heard Konrad play his mix a few weeks ago, works pretty good at 4am.

In LA.

Konrad's here in 2 weeks Konrad's mix >

I'm really disappointed in the original. I usually like Paul Ritch but this is really subpar for him.

We live in a city with a thriving dance scene. It's not unusual for us to see every single hotshit dj under the sun at the moment.

I like the original, sick percussion and glitch work.

Oh yea L.A. is such a Techno Hotspot. LOL

in US terms it is starting to become one.

there are a few bigger cities when it comes to techno, sure...but the reality is still that the US is a relative dead zone in terms of electronic music. By that definition LA is a techno hotpot.

b side for me as well.

Actually it is. If you're having issues finding solid techno parties in LA, you're doing something terribly wrong.

ps
I said "thriving dance music scene", not specifically techno you illiterate zagnut.

You would want to move to LA if your into Techno, quite a few Techno DJ's have come through LA the past 2 years.

Not entirely true. Some people would consider Philadelphia, for example, a dead zone for electronic music when it really isn't. If you are coming here to see international talent, good luck, but there are a lot of parties behind the scenes that you can go to and are also very fun, with great talent. And then of course you have NYC about 2 hours away and then DC 3 hours away.

USA != Electronic Dead Zone

This track doesn't seem worth buying either, by the way. The first 10 seconds of the original was about all I could take.

Konrad Black remix is fantastic. The verdict is out on the original but I'm sure it will crush a club system. I'm still waiting to hear Paul Ritch - Just Two out on a club system, that track is bananas.

Liking the Konrad mix a lot, original has some things in it I like but there's something about it that annoys me a great deal.

i wouldn't call it dead, but a lot of it is either vintage or imported rather than innovative and thriving.

and nyc nightlife, while not entirely bad, is a shadow of its former self really
