Local hospital
So apparently my left kidney is fucked and they are probably taking it out in a week or so.
I was drinking Friday night and as I sometimes get (for the last 8 years) I got this pain on the left side of my waist. It usually disappears in 4-5 days or so, but 5 am Tuesday morning I woke up with incredible pain. It was among the worst I've ever felt, along with Cluster Headache. It was bad.
Man, the stuff they did to me there. I got a shot for the pain on my ass cheek. The 2nd doctor I see, talks with me for a while and let me explain what's up. Then she proceeds to push and punch my stomach, then puts a finger up my ass, then fondles my balls. I'm not sure why, but it was needed apparently. Got shots all over my body, fucking blood tests, but I'm totally cool with needles so no problem really.
I had gotten an infection in the kidney so that's why it hurt like a sunnovabitch. They said it had been a fail-kidney since birth, not having enough output for the urine. When drinking lots of urine accumulates and when it can't exit the kidney it fucks it up and the kidney eventually "dies". It just took this long for it to completely fail.

I hear that people who have only 1 kidney are not supposed to drink.
So that means good bye to booz for you?
I don't know, I guess I have to ask that, but I think he said I could drink "normally" whatever that means. If not, then no more getting shit faced I guess...
I had about 7 different doctors and 10 different nurses. Made me feel important. That or they didn't know what the hell was wrong with me.
Never rule out lupus.

the anal exam was performed by our neighbor at the time who was a flight surgeon. i was living on a military base in japan so it was a tight community. i'd see him in the elevator from time to time after he had his fingers up my butt. it was great.
