Free Scholarships to Music Industry & Recording Arts school, Harris Institute.

I just thought I would give a heads up to those that may be interested. 91.5 the beat is giving away 6 scholarships to the Harris Institute for the Arts in Toronto.

The station is based out of kw, and I THINK you may have to be from kw to qualify, but don't quote me on that.

I actually went to Harris on one of these scholarships. It covers your full tuition which is about 13k. I really enjoyed my time there a lot and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to fast track their training in the sound engineering field. Especially when you don't have to pay for it, lol! Its a great school with a heavy emphasis in music. They teach a good amount of theory. They also do a recording artist management program for those interested in the business side of things.

Deadline is March 9th to apply.

quote:
13. DECLARATION AND RELEASE OF GRAND PRIZE WINNER Before being awarded the Grand Prize the Grand Prize winner (and their legal guardian) must: a) Correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited skill-testing mathematical question; and

Does this make any sense to anybody?
