is it me or does?

This years lines ups look over all pretty weak? What's up with the prices going up so much...Just wondering if I will probably be the only one canceling my hotel res unless somethign amazing happpens soon

I think if you can't find any events/djs you like, then there's no pleasing you, because there is definitely something for everyone in this year's line up.

I'm pumped, i mean shit check out the future sound of breaks vs. viram party for only 30 bux

Although the lineup is pretty weak compared to past years, I still think there is more than enough to justify my trip. I am having to decide between events on almost every night of the week.

Maybe branch out and try something new?

Just cancel your hotel man WMC sucks this year it's not worth it.

and dont go to space thur night/fri morning, there is already enough people going

i agree its weak. but ive already said this in some other thread. if i didnt live here and had to fly in and pay for a hotel, then id probably cancel too. but since i live here, ill just do the few events that do appeal to me and thats it.

I agree. If it wasn't that I didn't get to see my family,friends and my old room... I probably wouldn't go.

DEMF is 1/4th of the money I have spent so far ... and for WMC, I am only paying for flight + party tickets.

Either way I think it's fun that in a matter of 4 days I will check out some fun trance,house and techno! Doing it ALL baby!

Ya, wmc sucks. I just look forward to it for no reason. Sucks having to make decisions on where to go. Sucks looking forward to 5 months of Ibiza style partying crammed into 6 nights.

How about you just confess to us that you are broke and have no credit so you can't go?

Why on earth someone would think this year sucks compared to any other is beyond me.

Every year I've gone to WMC it's been noticeably different in line-ups, vibe, etc. However, I've never been disappointed and there are always great parties and I always have a great time. Fact of the matter is, it's not often you get that much talent all within a couple mile radius... on the beach!

well i guess its not that the lineups suck, but its just my luck the last two yrs i could not attend on sat and wanted to see markus, and this yr i can and he is not playing on sat. It is certainly not that i dont have credit sheesh but i guess i gotta make do with whats gonna be avaliable to me

So take this WMC off and don't come if your contemplating it.

I think WMC goes in waves good and bad. So much fun in general to hit up Miami and just party all week!! Yes for me going this year!!

i dunno what you're into, but there is something for everyone.

Their are plenty of good lineups if your into house or techno.

from a trance point of view, the line ups seem to be more about the 'obvious' djs and less about quality djs.

there seems to be a lot less parties across the board this year, I'm sure the economy has something to do with it. it used to be that labels would put on shows which lost money just for the sake of having their name out there, but who can afford to that anymore?

it also seems like a lot of djs are skipping wmc this year, probably for the same reason. I suspect there will be fewer clubbers this year going this year as well.

as for the number of clubbers going, by this time of year most of the hotels are usually sold out, but if you check, you'll see that most of them still have availability. alot of punters aren't going and quite a few djs are skipping it this year as well.

Defo, a lot less Europeans coming over for example... The pound is at an all time low which won't make things any easier for the Brits and of course we have Ibiza close by with affordable flights and hotels so I think many people just rather wait a few months till the opening parties there

If I go i am thinking of currently attending the van dyk/morrillo show not sure how that works having to buy two seperate tix though....maybe armin since i cant make any of the thurs night trance shows. if not armin think steve lawler lights out at kore never heard of this place. and sunday sander @ Shine

has changed

WMC has changed big time... I been going every year since 2003, and it keeps getting worse... and worse... I'll be going to South Beach this year, but probably will skip a lot... and even though it gets worse, the prices keep going up...

Last year they didn't even have the huge ass Nikki Beach party, wtf?
