Syracuse

Some friends and I bought tickets to see Infected mushroom in Syracuse at the Wescott Theater. We bought the tickets RIGHT when they went on sale and then two weeks later we found out they are playing in NYC LOL. Although we were slightly angry for a moment,we are kinda happy because none of us have ever been to Syracuse & we get a semi long road trip. My question to you is, What's one to do while in Syracuse(fun spots, bars, restaurants etc etc). Were gonna rent out a room in a motel and just spend the weekend there.

Blue Tusk and Clark's Ale House! (both bars in Armory Sq. Downtown)

Syracuse has a minor league hockey team called the Syracuse Crunch. They play at the Onondaga War Memorial Arena (or whatever it's called).

syracuse is a good fucken time. you should hit up turningstone casino, it's only like a half hour outside of syracuse. On friday night the club there plays edm and it's actually a really cool club. the best thing about it is that the club can't pull that many people so it's not crowded. Other things to look for, harry's bar and grill is the bar to go to on marshal street. A TA, the vza is a dj there, even though he can't play strictly edm he plays a fair amount of it, but idk about how harry's will be that weekend because all the college kids will be away on spring break. I would recommend going downtown to ohm or traffic. you have to watch out with traffic though, on certain nights it is a gay club. but yea...syracuse is the shit...don't let anyone tell you any different.

the little restaurant called Cosmos is AMAZING!!! Its some where near SU, i used to go there with my ex. small little place but huge menue probably still cheap..

other than that stay warm!

heh, cosmos is my mom's fav place. it's a good diner style place, they make a good bbq chicken pizza. I defiantly recommend the blue tusk, gourmet sandwitch place and a great place for a beer.

Oooh what a funny coincidence!! I always got a bagel sandwich. (im so plain.. haha) but oh my gosh so good!

I'm just happy that I can walk up the block instead of driving 4 hours to see a decent act!!!! WESTCOTT ALL DAY BABY...
